Top Tip Tuesday //
This week's top tip is about confetti
🌸 Check with your venue if you can use confetti - most only allow biodegradable or real petals
🌸 When choosing confetti it is best to go for larger petals as they can look better in photographs. Larger petals also won't get stuck in your hair as much as small petals/lavender
🌸 If you're providing confetti for your guests, make sure that you have plenty to go around - the more confetti the better the pictures!
🌸 Ensure that you have an efficient way of handing out the confetti to your guests - either in pre-made packets/cones or in big baskets for guests to grab handfuls
🌸 Give your bridesmaids or groomsmen the job of handing out the confetti to your guests - the more people handing out the confetti, the less time it will take for all of your guests to have it ready for that magic shot!

"DO YOU - one thing that occurs with some of my couples, particularly when aiming to blend different cultures in their wedding, is the pressure from family. This can be about how family members think your day should be, traditions that they want you to incorporate. If you are in this situation or know someone who is my advice...
👉🏾Make sure the two of you are clear on YOUR priorities first, because everyone will make suggestions about your wedding.
👉🏾 After that respectfully and honestly discuss with your family what your priorities are and get their buy in early. Give them time to come to terms with things you may want to do that are different to what they expected.
👉🏾 Remember your wedding, just like your marriage is about the two of you. Do it your way. So that your special day brings you joy.
