Working with such awesome local suppliers and a really lovely couple, honestly makes our job so easy and such a pleasure.
Hannah and Andy. We have been working with you towards your wedding nearly 2 years. Having to negate a venue cancelling your big day is perhaps one of the hardest things any couple planning a wedding has to face. Thankfully @houchinsweddings came to the rescue and honoured all bookings with this couples suppliers, which is very kind of them.
The delighted couple chose canapés including savoury profiteroles (these are our surprise canapé. When people try them, they adore them), scallops with bacon, mini sausages, tomato mozerella and basil skewers, and the classic roasted beef in mini yorkie.
This was followed by a sharing platter of baked Camembert. For main, they chose roasted chicken supreme, and dessert was a choice between white chocolate cheese cake or apple and fruit crumble.
For the evening, of course our pizza trailer came out to play!
We’re so happy that H&A finally had the day they had Been dreaming of.

It can suddenly feel very overwhelming and pushed for time but I assure you you… you have time. Just ensure you have the “main” suppliers booked including the venue, photographer, caterer, hair and makeup.
Everything will fall into place. Perhaps create a time line if when you would like things to be finished by.
Do remember to delegate some tasks if possible.
At Coggeshall Catering, we will do all we can to ensure the planning stage be as smooth as possible and we are always here to answer any of questions.. even if they’re not catering related.

It was such a beautiful day for these 2 wonderful people.
Having originally having their wedding cancelled at another venue, they were determined to go ahead with their original date and to still have us cater.
And we are so thrilled they did. 🥰
The day itself, I think was better than they could have imagined!

Yesterday we celebrated the glorious wedding of Barnaby and Alice! The venue looked stunning and the platters were very well received. Wishing you all the best as you start on your new adventure as mr and Mrs.
Had a great lunch time catering for the teachers and teaching staff at our children’s primary school. This is the main charity we like to support. Rather than the schools charity spend money on the teachers end of term treat, we offered to cater at no cost, as we want the school to benefit from as much of the raised funds as possible, Especially as schools are terribly underfunded now. Teachers use so much of their own personal resources and funds to teach our children. This is just our way of saying a massive thank you, and we appreciate everything they do.
Congratulations to R and A! The venue smelt divine as it was filled with Jo Malone candles. We love the elegance, yet cosy atmosphere that this theme created. (It won’t let me share the reel I made on Instagram to Facebook... still learning)
It’s not often we’re able to get Adam and the team in action. It was an exceptionally hot day, even more so by the bbqs, but we just love doing what we do!
The thrill and excitement during and after an event is immense!
