Thank you to W Flowers and Bouquet Garni Caterers for dressing our receptions rooms for the Viewing Weekend.
The Long Gallery and Barn both looked fabulous with a variety of floral displays to offer inspiration to couples who had a private tour of the venue.

Barn Weddings at Layer Marney Tower.

Our beautiful, rustic Barn was lovingly restored a few years ago and since the first wedding reception, we have seen it as a backdrop for many magical weddings, from more intimate gatherings to grand celebrations of over 180 guests.

It is a large space with exposed timbers and has the luxury of under floor heating, so is cosy for weddings year round. A combination of subtle lighting with sparkling fairy lights make it a great space for a party!

Some couples use the Barn for their wedding breakfast and evening reception, but other couples prefer to use the Long Gallery for the wedding breakfast before making way to the Barn for the evening party.

If you are dreaming of a Barn wedding, why not book an appointment to look round during our Viewing Weekend on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March. Both the Barn and Long Gallery will be dressed for a wedding by Bouquet Garni Caterers and W Flowers to give you some ideas for your own wedding.

Yesterday we welcomed 60 EYFS pupils from Elmwood Primary School, to enjoy a "Princess and the Frog" day., which is an introduction to history.
This included a fun trail around the garden, finishing at the fountain.
Other activities included some drama and making a frog to take home.
