Wedding Viewing Weekend - Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th January, by appointment only

We are now taking bookings for viewing appointments during our wedding viewing weekend.

Couples will be offered a private tour of the venue, to include the various ceremony options and two reception rooms, which will both be dressed for a wedding by W Flowers Hopefully the weather may be kind for a wander in the garden too.

Come and have a chat with us about your wedding plans, whether you are considering, 2025, 2026, 2027...or beyond!

Please note, we are now offering discounts on wedding receptions for any remaining date in 2025.

Yesterday, we hosted a fabulous festive experience with Helen Rollason Cancer Charity - HRCC
The team from the charity worked hard in the days beforehand to make the Long Gallery and Barn look magical.
During the afternoon there was the opportunity to meet Father Christmas, have a ride on the Routemaster bus, make reindeer food and have your face painted to name just a few activities.
Refreshments were available and visitors were even treated later in the day to singing by Ashleigh Wells Vocals
We hope that all all the visitors enjoyed this special Christmas event. 🎅🎄

It is with great sadness that we share the news that the beloved dogs of Layer Marney Tower, Bonnie and Myrtle, have both passed away within months of each other. These two loyal companions were more than just pets — they were part of the heart and soul of the Tower, regularly greeting visitors here.

We have so many happy memories of them and they will be sorely missed by all of us.

Congratulations to the newlyweds Lauren and Sercan! 🎉 Your wedding was truly beautiful, and we send you our very best wishes.

The talented team from Butterfly Flowers made beautiful arrangements in St Mary the Virgin Layer Marney church before creating a fantastic entrance on the Long Gallery staircase and a stunning display on the fireplace.

The pretty cake was supplied by The Iced Vegan  and guest danced to music by DJ Samuel Hann - Multi-Award Winning

The flower arrangements look stunning...we can't wait to share!

Festive fun!

Our Christmas event started on Sunday and we are now busily preparing for day three.
Mulled wine is served on arrival and guests then enjoy a traditional Christmas meal, with each course woven between performances by Minty Spectre of The Christmas Carol.
It has been lovely to see familiar faces that return annually for this event as well as lots of new faces.
The Barn is looking magical with the Christmas decorations, candles and fairy lights.

We would like to send our congratulations and best wishes to Charlotte and Ted who were married on Saturday.
After becoming husband and wife in the Corsellis Room, guests made their way into the garden for some photos by official photographer Rachel Reeve Photography When it started getting a little too cold for outside drinks and canapes, everyone moved to the warmth of the Barn for garden games.
The Long Gallery was then used for the wedding breakfast, which looked stunning with two banquet tables decorated by W Flowers
It was back to the Barn for the evening reception where everyone danced all night to the fantastic Funk2k band.
