Bespoke handmade keepsake garter 🤍
For this garter I used UK sourced Nottingham Lace and satin ribbon as a base. Then using remnant fabric from the hem alteration, created a unique embellishment mirroring the embossed leaf pattern design of the wedding dress fabric.
Then it was finished off with a blue bow for luck 🩵
Presented in a keepsake box to be treasured forever ✨

Just look at this dreamy super soft pure silk on this Catherine Deane wedding dress 🤍
Extremely fine and delicate, this fabric needs to be handled with such care.
Only an experienced bridal seamstress will have the skills and confidence to handle such fabrics.
This dress required a bodice alteration, bust darts and hem layers shortening 🪡💫🪄

Top tip for brides with a backless or low back dress – do not wear a bra on the morning of the wedding as it can leave marks and indentations on your skin. Also, if you’re planning any trips or holidays on the lead up to your wedding, be careful of tan lines.
