Anxiety, self doubt, imposter syndrome can impact you at any time. For me perimenopause has caused some really negative thoughts. It's like I have a constant battle in my own brain. During the last couple of months I have been concentrating on positive thoughts. Attending evening shows on my own. Preparing for networking events. The smile hides the behind the scenes feelings of sadness, loneliness, anxiety. Don't ever doubt your abilities, keep replacing negative words with positive. Shed a tear, dance around your kitchen, put on your favourite music, read a book, walk. Whatever takes your mind out of the negative zone.
