Half Term has officially started so this is your reminder that we might get busy over the next few weeks and highly recommend booking your sessions online! 🤩
We will be extending our opening hours to full time 7 days a week for the remainder of February! 🤩 ( please read below)
Create an online account and make changes to your bookings without having to contact us - change date, time, add more guests- all can be done on your online account ☺️
Our Little Ducklings will continue as normal Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9:30-11:30 ( 0-4 year olds only)
And as always- no admissions without bookings for 2:30 and 3:30 play sessions please, we will only stay open if we have bookings for those sessions ☺️
Few quick reminders:
💜 ALL visitors attending must have a ticket and a valid waiver ( all adults and babies including)
💜💜 ONLY food and drinks purchased on premises may be consumed while on premises, please don’t bring your own food and drinks ( baby formula is only exemption, other exemptions may be considered, such as severe allergies if advised in advance and agreed for by management).
💜💜💜 ALL attending visitors must have valid waivers- sign them prior to arrival for speedy sign in.
💜💜💜💜 All children must be supervised by attending adults, must have socks on, and should be encouraged to follow our rules of play at all times.
💜💜💜💜💜 Please remember that if you wish to use our Go Karts you must supervise your children while using the Karts. ( P.S they require a £1 coins to operate, please bring cash, we can exchange your notes for £1 coins, but we can’t do cash back).
Please remember to be considerate of our team and respect our centre and our rules of play, and help us keep the centre clean and tidy by ensuring your children don’t enter play frames with food or drinks, keep the area around your table tidy and advise us of any spillages or accidents as soon as possible so we can assist in cleaning up to ensure everyone has a pleasant and enjoyable visit ☺️💜

It’s our Jon’s birthday today!
Although he is mostly hiding behind the scenes here at Laughing Ducks- he is the man behind so many aspects of our day to day operations, from maintaining the centre to designing the menus and dealing with admin, prep work for our seasonal events, booking site and now also website updates ☺️
We simply would not exist and would not be a great place we are without all of his hard work 🥰
So please join us in wishing him a very happy birthday! 🥳

Little Ducklings back on tomorrow morning ☺️
And we have new item added to our emergency supplies - bibs ☺️
So often you’ve asked if we had any for your little ones as those are so easy to forget on your days out- well, we’ve heard you and we’ve got you covered ( literally 🙌🏻🤩)
Just ask at the counter to borrow one 🙂
P.S- we also have baby wipes, nappy sacks AND spare nappies in the changing areas as well as female hygiene products all available free of charge if you are ever needing one 🙂

Has to be one of our most favourite memories so far ☺️
I remember it so clearly, this time 5 years ago.. laying in bed thinking - are we ready? Did we get everything sorted? Is it actually happening 🫣 so excited but also so nervous 😬 like a kid a night before their birthday 🎈 🫣☺️
We had no idea what was to come and we didn’t have a clue what we were doing but we had big dreams and ideas so we winged it and seemed to have worked 🤷‍♀️☺️🫣🤫😂

The feeling of our hard work finally paying off and being able to open our doors at last will always be the best one. 🥰

5 years on, we are so grateful we survived and have come as far as we have! Every small win and achievement, we count them all and never take any of it for granted 💜
And we have all of you and our amazing team to thank for it! 🥰

Can’t believe we are actually opening tomorrow!!! 😱😱😱
We can’t wait to see you all !! 🥰🥰🥰

We have a very important guest - The Lord- Lieutenant, Mrs Jeanna Swan doing the honours of opening our centre for us!!!!

The lovely Dizzy from Radio Borders Cash for kids will also be there!!
And we are hoping Radio Borders news and Border TV will also be in attendance!!!

It’s going to be amazing!!!

Open house 10am-12pm! following a close down at 12 and re-open again at 1pm!

( please note we don’t have a working kitchen yet, but fingers crossed it will be ready for Saturday! 🙃)
We expect it to be very busy for the next few days so please be patient with us and our amazing team while we are finding our feet 🙂

Please also be assured that our play structure is thoroughly cleaned top to bottom but with it being a brand new building we still have some dust around the place. We will try our best to keep on top of it but it will take a couple of weeks for it to settle. 🙂

Only fitting we celebrate with the same cake we had on our opening day! 🎂 🎉🤩 ( and a bottle or two of Prosecco after hours 🙈🫣🤫)

🤩🎉Hello February!🎉🤩
Our favourite month of the year! ☺️
Not only is it the shortest, but we also have half term to look forwards to AND it’s our Birthday this month too!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

We are looking quite busy day, with very limited spaces left for 9:30, 10:30 and 12pm already.

And just like it’s almost weekend again!

Jon, Aleks and I are away back to sunny Driftland for round 3 of Kdkustoms Winter Battle Series , ( Aleks has worked really hard after work to get his car fixed up after last events damages, and we have to say we are so proud of him for doing such a good job with it again ☺️🙌🏻) so Joanne will be running the fort this weekend ☺️

We have some parties and a private hire on Sunday afternoon, so will be closing play sessions at 3pm on Sunday!
Booking online is highly recommended as always, as we might not be able to accommodate walk-ins if all spaces are booked.

Help a local business out! 💜 👇🏻

Oh help!

We have just power restored (hooray!) But we have one freezer that hasn't been happy 🙈

We have all of these amazing, local Jarvis Pickle pies that are just above the freezer temperature they should be at, so I've popped them in the fridge to defrost fully - the only problem is that they need to be eaten on Wednesday! With that in mind we are selling them off at £2 each, that's a huge saving!

Come on people of Coldstream, help us out and embrace pie Wednesdays 🥧😀🙏

We also have lots of bread to use up with having been closed - we'll take 10% off all sandwiches (sit in or takeaway) tomorrow, 29th January too!
