CALLING ALL COMMUNITY GROUPS!📣

Now that the news is out that we have taken over the Colne Gala, we want to get as many community groups involved as possible to make this year's procession the biggest and best one yet! 🤩

Not only do we have a number of floats available, we also want to get groups walking in the parade! To register your interest and to find out more, get in touch with our Events Officer on 01282 861888 or at [email protected] ☎️

We have now taken over the running of the Colne Gala from 2025, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who have kept the Gala going for so long! 👏

Plans for this year's Gala will be released later in the year, keep your eyes peeled 👀

What an absolutely incredible day we had to celebrate the start of the festive season here in Colne, there was so much going on with something for everyone! 🎅

What an absolutely fantastic day we had here in Colne, some much to see and do! 🤩

Wowsers guys! Wasn’t yesterday amazing! - thank you so much for joining us in kicking off the festive season with our 2024 Christmas in Colne event!🎅🏼

The day was absolutely jam packed from start to finish with thousands of you coming and enjoying a fantastic variety of festive fun! We've had our fabulous market, snowboard simulator, rodeo reindeer and donkeys to name a few... We even had Santa leading the procession, did you see him on his way through? The funfair was fab, the grotto really busy, the atmosphere was festive and the elves super giddy! We had stage acts galore and theatre groups came too, we had live musicians on stage and fireworks right on queue!⭐️

We'd like to say a massive thank you our events team, our amazing volunteers, our traders, our performers and everyone else who made the event a HUGE success! Most importantly a huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the festive season!👏

We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas from Colne Town Council 🎄
