Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May will sees the sixth 1940's festival coming to Colwyn Bay and we’d love you to be part of it. Festival times are Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm

The Bay of Colwyn Business Network is organising a Forties Festival in Colwyn Bay Town Centre. The Festival will include cookery demonstrations and local food producers showing the vibrancy of the area with a World War II twist.

And it’s a wrap! Well it’s now over and done with and we would just like to thank a few people. The event couldn’t of happened without a small team of people; Anna, Kai, Andy and Sue. Anna has organised most of this event herself and we would like to thank her all for lots of hard work she has done to get the event the best it has been. We would like to thank Kai for operationally running the event, we would like to thank him for his advice and experience on safety and security. We would like to also thank Andy and Sue for all there hard work, we couldn’t do it without them. Clive for his brilliant skills being the presenter for our entertainment on Penrhyn stage. Newms for medical cover and Corvus for security. Our main attraction being the plane and the BARV which had been supplied by War and Peace Displays. It was also good to spend time in the bar with them after. They are amazing people especially Bradley, Rory and Steve. Also thanks to Events Conwy for sponsoring the plane and all their preparations for UK Armed Forces Day 2018. Thanks to Powlsons Limited for suppling our ration booklets. Again, thank you all for coming and see you all next year for the best event in North Wales! P.S here is a video of the BARV being loaded onto its trailer this evening.
