Wow!!!! Laura had the most incredible time attending ‘All Aboard’ with Mags Worldwide onboard the stunning British Pullman, A Belmond Train today! A huge thank you to all involved and the special DMC’s and hotels hosting this remarkable event! ✨ Laura was also very fortunate to experience the iconic Shangri-La The Shard, London last night with the most delicious dinner & overnight stay, overlooking what felt like the whole of London!! Talk about a room with views…. 😍 So many flexible spaces here and the opportunity to take over the restaurant, cocktail bar and even the swimming pool for drinks receptions!! Thank you again to everyone, especially the wonderful Mags Shaw 🥰
Thank you Accor Group for such a wonderful 24 hours in London! Thursday evening was spent at the stylish @mondrianshoreditch having 121 presentations and meetings with 44 hotels from across the globe, we stayed overnight @novotel_londonwest
On Friday morning we boarded @bustronomelondon for a wonderful ‘breakfast with a view’ taking in the iconic sites of London and then had a super afternoon of polo, champagne, more delicious food and networking @polointhepark
Laura & her husband Bobby have had the most wonderful weekend at the stunning @aubergedujeudepaume in Chantilly with @sanahotels ✨
Just a 30 minute drive from Charles de Gaulle airport it was extremely easy and quick to arrive from Manchester airport.
Laura & Bobby booked into the hotel a night earlier than the fam trip to explore the area at leisure… we hired electric bikes from @bobebike and cycled through the beautiful off road tracks to @polodechantilly to watch a match before dinner at a local bistro on the High Street.
The following morning we walked round the racecourse which is just a stones throw from the hotel - we saw them busy preparing for a day of racing.
The rest of the group arrived from St Pancras in time for a delicious lunch in the Le Jardin D’Hiver where introductions were made.
After lunch we strolled down to the Chateau entrance (which is immediately next door to the hotel) and had a tour of the beautiful & historic spaces - the majority of which can be hired exclusively for gala dinners and drink receptions. A truly stunning backdrop for a special occasion.
We also visited the stables & Princes’ Vegetable Garden - both of which have unique event spaces and are able to be hired exclusively.
That evening we were treated to a fine dining experience in the private dining room of the La Table Du Connetable where we had the privilege to meet Executive Chef Clement Le Norcy. With a chance of seeing the Northern Lights we set our alarms for 2am and were provided with champagne hampers to take down to the grounds of the Chateau - we sadly didn’t see any but had a brilliant time looking at the starry sky!
Today we had a surprise activity which turned out to be making our own Chantilly cream! - which was delicious!!
We explored the Chateau grounds and gardens before a farewell lunch!

Laura hosted a very special client event last night at the Carlton Tower Jumeriah ✨ the hotel has recently completed a £100 million refurbishment - everywhere is immaculate!! The attention to detail is incredible, as soon as you arrive you feel very welcomed to this beautifully luxurious yet homely hotel - the designers have managed to get the balance just right.
Champagne in hand, we viewed the stunning ballroom, event spaces and an example suite which has a large balcony over looking London!
We then headed down to the Italian restaurant, Al Mare where we were treated to a delicious 5 course menu in the private dining room looking into the kitchen!

The next stop for Emily’s London trip was Radio Rooftop at ME London Hotel!! Wow what gorgeous views😍 Radio Rooftop is the perfect setting for events, the terrace and restaurant can be hired exclusively for every type of event such as standing receptions and dinners!! Thank you to the business development manager, Alan Bath, for the complimentary glasses of champagne 🥂
This week, Laura also stayed at the stunning
Swinton Estate! The estate is spread over 20,000 acres and includes a 32 bedroom hotel which is perfect for exclusive use events - it has a very 'grand' feel but is cosy and homely at the same time. Upon arrival you definitely feel like you have arrived somewhere special. A large stone gateway is followed by a sweeping driveway through parkland (complete with a herd of over 300 deer). An immaculately dressed and equally helpful doorman met us at the entrance. Check in was a pleasure and we were then guided through to the lounge for a complimentary glass of fizz whilst our bags were taken to our room!
The bedrooms are individually decorated and very spacious with stunning views over the beautiful parkland - we woke up to see the deer chasing each other and playing games!
There are several meeting rooms and private dining rooms within the hall itself, along with Samuels the fine dining restaurant, an intimate cocktail bar and several lounged to relax - my personal favourite room is the Drawing Room - it’s so beautiful and grand! This is available to use for private dinners too so would be the perfect option for a gala dinner.
The brand new spa and country club is a short walk from the hall itself - complete with a large relaxation room, indoor and outdoor pools, treatment rooms and a thermal suite.
The Terrace restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a much more modern feel, there is a separate bar for cocktails and pre dinner drinks plus a very large outdoor terrace and garden which would be lovely for BBQs and drinks receptions in the summer.
There are so many activities available within the estate - including a fully equipped cookery school, equestrian facilities, shooting, falconry, fishing, biking and a huge choice of walks with approximately 63 miles of public footpaths and bridlepaths!!
