We had a fantastic Fam trip at the weekend to the beautiful and colourful capital of Portugal, Lisbon..

Hosted by the luxurious 5 star Corinthia Hotel, in partnership with ECMeetings.
Hayley explored what Lisbon has to offer as a MICE destination

Portugal is known for its charming neighbourhoods, colourful artwork and architecture, old fashioned trams, delicious fresh foods and rich history.

The Corinthia offers a wide range and versatile meeting and event space options. With 518 rooms and suits, 2 bars, 2 restaurants and spa leisure facilities. The service was impeccable, with a very experienced operations team meticulously planning and flawlessly executing events.

We also visited The Sud Lisbon, a premium event’s space offering a wide range of spaces for grand corporate dinners, social dining and rooftop receptions. Not to mention the Palacio Nacional de Queluz.. A historical heritage event venue. We enjoyed a delicious evening dinner at the Páteo Alfacinha, hosted by Casa do Marques event catering. A quaint venue set in a typical Lisbon neighbourhood, with an outdoor courtyard to enjoy the summer sun.

Enjoying a speed boat tour, Electric Tuk Tuk rides, guided food tour, coastal ride to Cascais, and a shop and stroll though the LX factory. Lisbon truly is a beautiful city. Many thanks to Isabelle, Sofia and Claire for a great experience..

Delighted to have co-hosted a handful of our wonderful clients at the stunning last Thursday! ✨
We begun our afternoon clay pigeon shooting on the 500 acre estate which was great fun, and slightly competitive by the end of it!!
We had a couple of hours to ourselves to catch up on emails, try out the spa & get ready for the evening!
We met in the beautiful Library bar and served the most delicious English sparkling wine, we then visited the event spaces including the newly refurbished and spacious ballroom which can seat 110 classroom, we didn’t get chance to view the Mandeville Ballroom as there was an event taking place, but that can seat 100 banquet so it’s ideal to have 2 ballrooms to change the scene from your day meeting to evening dinner.
We were treated to a delicious 3 course meal in the ‘Fox Hollow’ - the private dining room at the Wild Carrot restaurant which is very elegant and spacious.
We finished the evening with a cocktail (or two!!) in the Wild Carrot bar which has a fantastic atmosphere, before retreating to our beautiful bedrooms.

The Four Seasons Hampshire has a total of 132 bedrooms so it’s ideal for exclusive use events, especially so many beautiful spaces to utilise.

Yesterday it was Bell Events 10 year anniversary!!!! 🎉 It’s been an absolutely incredible 10 years (minus Covid, but we don’t mention that!!), thank you so much to my most amazing clients, employees, suppliers, family & friends who have supported & made it what it is!! Over the years we have had so many wonderful memories, confirmed such a variety of hotels & venues, attended & hosted extremely memorable fam trips, met so many amazing people and drank a ridiculous amount of fizz!!!! Honoured that the majority of my clients are now lifelong friends! 🥰

Hayley and her family enjoyed a fantastic FAM trip to the hidden gem that is the Mercure Cardiff North Hotel.

Located just outside Cardiff City Centre, Mercure Cardiff North is ideal for Business and Leisure.. With 11 flexible meeting rooms. Perfect for conferences, meetings and private functions for up to 150 guests. There is plenty of onsite parking and outside space to host your own team building activities.
All the staff were amazing and could not do enough to ensure we had the perfect stay.

Part of the stay included tickets to attend the DEPOT at Cardiff Castle. Where we enjoyed watching Ann Marie and Tom Waker. The concert combined with the gorgeous weather was amazing..🤩 ☀️

Thank huge thank you to Emma, Dorota and Stephanie Oliver and the whole hotel staff for a wonderful weekend.

We’ve hosted a wonderful client lunch and site visit today with
We started at Gaucho Broadgate for canapés & fizz whilst viewing their 2 private dining rooms, terraces and spacious restaurant.
We then had a leisurely walk to their sister venue, M Threadneedle Street where we were treated to a delicious 3 course lunch and wines. There are multiple options here for private event spaces with a large mezzanine level which can be split, a private members club which can be hired exclusively and 2 private dining rooms - one of which can seat 40 guests on one long table.
What we love most about is that they are a ‘yes’ brand - they are very flexible with what spaces can be hired and don’t have lots of restrictions in place that you have with some chains / hotels!

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have a request for private dining, exclusive use events, drinks receptions or Summer / Christmas parties!! 🎉

I’m looking for a venue finder to join our small, but very friendly team at Bell Events based in Somerford, Cheshire 🩵

I don’t offer a fancy office setting, I don’t do any team building exercises, or even bother with marketing & sales-y stuff! ….I’m rather laid back to be perfectly honest - we have an amazing selection of clients who we prioritise looking after them, I don’t have ambitions to grow much bigger than 2 employees (maybe 3 one day!)
I’m very much family oriented so like the balance of enjoying work, doing a great job for our clients and spending time with my young family.

Bell Events is a pure venue finding agency, we purposefully don’t offer event management so we can restrict the hours we work and chose when and where we travel to.

Being a tiny team (just myself & the wonderful Hayley!) there are so many opportunities to attend fam trips, networking events and exhibitions….but only if you’d like to! - There’s zero pressure to go from my side!

We either work from my dining room when we have meetings or needing to update each other in person, or work remotely from home / cafes depending on what mood you’re in each day! Quite often you’ll find us in a pub lunching with hotels & suppliers!

Other than the amazing opportunities for fam trips and hotel stays, the other perk for working for me is I understand how precious time with your children is and how ‘they’re only little once’ - so if you have a child and they have a sports day, a reading session to attend, or your invited in to have lunch with them at school I’ll not just approve it, I’ll actively encourage you to go! I’m a big believer in ‘give & take’ - some evenings you’d work late due to multiple enquiries coming in, or time differences with International events, other days you’ll clock off early and head to a beer garden with friends!

We’ve looked at what feels like every European country for another 3 day event - the brief was ‘5 star only, anywhere in Europe!’ ⭐️🌍 we have some amazing options holding for this now!! Thank you to the hotels for speedy turnarounds!
And started a search today for 160 delegates for a residential Christmas event in Belfast 🎄

Laura has had a super site visit today of viewing both of their boats, the Silver Sturgeon & the Silver Barracuda plus their floating venue, the Woods Quay. All three are amazing venues and so much more spacious than you’d imagine!

All three can be hired exclusively, accommodating up to 550 guests for a truly exclusive event on the Thames!

We’re delighted to advise Laura will be hosting an exclusive client event here in the new year to showcase the amazing spaces available for events! 🛥️

Thank you very much to for hosting us for a wonderful fam trip on Friday evening! We loved the painting experience by - it was a great ice breaker for the group and very relaxing & fun! 🎨
Dinner was absolutely delicious and the staff all very friendly & helpful! We love how much Crewe Hall has to offer in terms of event spaces and styles - it’s a great mix of a historic hall & modern spaces which are perfect for residential groups. It would be ideal to do a day meeting in the modern events centre before dinner in beautifully detailed hall - all without having to leave the hotel! 🙌🏻
