L I G H T ✨

Using light at this time of year can be tricky but we LOVE it! If done properly, you get super atmospheric images that can’t always be achieved in the spring or summer months.

Winter light is cooler and bluer, so we like to light couples up with flash, giving them a warm, cosy feel which achieves a stunning result.

Also, the sun is lower in the autumn and winter, with long shadows. This creates a lovely, dramatic effect, especially at sunset.

Sparklers and smoke bombs (placed on the ground for safety) make for real ‘wow’ images and, even if it rains, we can create fantastic images using the reflection from water and puddles.

Becky and Alex’s wedding ceremony at the beautiful Merrydale Manor was full of emotion! Lead by the fabulous Cheshire East Your Ceremony Registrar team who really put them at their ease, Becky and Alex could be themselves and take it all in… and we were lucky enough to be able to discreetly capture all those incredible moments without them even knowing. Such a privilege! ☺️
