These two lovebirds have booked a cottage right on the beach and decided there is no better place on earth for them to say “I Do”.

Their wedding day vibe is an ultra-relaxed barefoot picnic wedding with their dogs, their friends and their family.

Oh, …and did I mention they’re having mermaids instead of bridesmaids?

One week in Iceland to celebrate my favourite husband turning 40.

Iceland is an excellent place to visit if you enjoy experiencing all the weathers, often at the same time, and if you like your scenery epic and your auroras breathtaking.

Also highly recommend Neil as a travel companion for his excellent itinerary making, driving and facts about lava and techtonic plates.

My contribution to the holiday included: demisting the windscreen on the hire car, ensuring appropriate snack levels, excellent playlists and generally bringing the vibes ✨

One of my new years resolutions was to up my social media game, which considering, up to that point, I’d viewed instagram as somewhere to post pictures of my dog, and my dinner, was quite a tall ask.

I’ve been forcing myself to remember to post a bit more about what I’ve been up to, here on my wedding celeb insta, but also on my alter-ego account , and I’m pleased to say I haven’t taken a photo of my dinner in months.

So forgive me whilst I celebrate a little micro-win along the way by getting 500 followers. Considering it’s taken me 3.5 years to get to this point, I’m about due a 1000 follower celebratory post in around April 2028. Watch this space.

Now that summer wedding season is over, 2025 and 2026 couples are getting serious about booking in the important suppliers for their big day.

I would like to pretend I’m all cool and nonchalant when a couple gets in touch to book me, but in reality, I make a noise involving way too many vowels and I don’t stop smiling for hours.

So if you’re looking for a wedding celebrant that is fun and fabulous, and are planning a ceremony filled with love and laughter, get in touch via DMs/Whatsapp.

If you’ve already booked your date, please PLEASE book your suppliers sooner rather than later, it’s devastating to have to turn down awesome couples because I’m already booked.

This couple have such a strong idea of what they want for their wedding day. Spoiler: their favourite place in the world, their favourite people in the world, and the very best Golden Retriever in the world*. It’s going to be bags of fun/a complete honour to be involved.

*Technically, second best dog in the world, as my dog (AKA the actual best Golden Retriever) will be at home, lounging around on sofas and being brought snacks, like the absolute QUEEN she is.

✨ I HAVE THE BEST JOB NGL ✨
15 years of building and scaling a creative agency taught me all the hard lessons about being a busy fool, alongside a load of good bits that I woudn’t change for the world. But four years ago, we hit the point where the studio doesn’t need me all day every day, which gave me time to flex into something else.

I’m almost 3.5 years into being a celebrant, and starting a self-employed business from scratch has given me a chance to take all those hard-earned lessons and not make them again.

That means:
💛 Waking up every day and doing work that is important and puts fire in my belly
💛Saying no to running on empty, being able to sleep well, eat well, move my body and rest when I need to
💛Working with couples who know what makes the, happy and fulfulled and are planning a wedding totally in keeping with those values
💛Understanding that I’m not the perfect celebrant for 100% of couples, AND THAT’S OK
💛Working with suppliers and collaborators couples that see the value in what I do (and vice versa)

Being a celebrant ticks all those boxes for me, and I feel very bloody hashtagged blessed to be able to do this for a living.

Seriously though, how awesome are these gold and velvet vow books?

I was looking for something to keep my couples vows safe and easy to read from during the ceremony and stumbled across these beauties from .studio on etsy.

I slid into her DMs to ask if I could make some tweaks to the design and here they are! They’ll be getting their first outing this weekend’s wedding. Can’t wait!
