David & Emily grew up in Hong Kong, where they met. Now, they live in Washington D.C., and they're getting married at the incredible Hall in North Wales with friends and family from all over the globe.

Their wedding day is all about bringing together all the important people in their lives, to celebrate their story so far, and to toast all that's to come.

Whilst most of our planning has happened online, I was able to meet up with Emily and her mum a couple of weeks ago whilst they were visiting North Wales on important wedding business, which was so lovely!

Angela and George knew exactly what they wanted.

They wanted a wedding at home with vows in their back garden and the Llyn Peninsula stretching out behind them.

Storm Betty, however, had other ideas. But because they chose a celebrant-led ceremony, we had the freedom to tweak the timings on the day itself. No stress, no last-minute panic – just an intimate, joyful celebration in a place they love.

Jenna always knew Shell was the one.

Six years ago, she bought a ring, waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question. In those years, they’ve traveled the world, climbed breathtaking mountains, and chased sunsets that felt like magic. There were loads of picture-perfect places to pop the question - but somehow, the ring stayed tucked away in its little box.

Then, just before the new year, on an ordinary day at home in Sheffield, Jenna decided the timing was finally right. Within a week, they had a venue booked, their celebrant (hi! 👋) sorted, and their photographer lined up.

Six years to pop the question. One week to plan a wedding. Six months ’til they say I do. Let’s do this!

GOALS FOR 2025>>>
Last week, I was lucky to get together with a bunch of excellent celebrants (and a very cool financial advisor), reflecting on the year just gone and our intentions for the year ahead.

So, before January is out, it’s about time I worked out what the hell I’m going to do with my one wild and precious 2025. Without further ado, THIS IS THE PLAN:

🧡 Fill my diary with couples who rewrite the rulebook, and enjoy every second of marrying them
🧡 Find myself a wedding where my £20 Vinted Pink Suit of Dreams can make an appearance.
🧡 Get better at putting myself out there on socials and not just hiding behind excellent memes.
🧡 Continue my deep dives into the nitty gritty of storytelling, speechwriting and speaking to make sure each ceremony is top notch.
🧡 Generally keep being awesome

These two lovebirds have booked a cottage right on the beach and decided there is no better place on earth for them to say “I Do”.

Their wedding day vibe is an ultra-relaxed barefoot picnic wedding with their dogs, their friends and their family.

Oh, …and did I mention they’re having mermaids instead of bridesmaids?

This is ticking all my boxes. ☀️🌊🐚💍🥰🍻🥙🧜‍♀️✅
