Every corner of Caer Rhun Hall whispers tales of its incredible past. This Grade II listed, late Victorian mansion is more than just a building – it’s a piece of Welsh history that’s been lovingly preserved for generations.

Built in 1895 by General Gough, Caer Rhun Hall stands on the site of Plas Caerrhun, a 17th-century house with medieval origins. Many of the original features, like the stunning wood paneling in the main hall, are still here today – a nod to the craftsmanship of the past.

A Family Legacy: The Caerrhun estate has passed through generations, with fascinating stories of name changes and inheritance. From the Davies family in the 17th century to the Goughs in the 19th century, this house has seen it all – even hosting military portraits during General Gough’s time.

A New Chapter: After serving as an accountancy college for decades, Caer Rhun Hall closed in 2019. But in 2023, it was lovingly restored and reopened under the ownership of Tokyo Industries Limited, breathing new life into its historic walls.

Today, Caer Rhun Hall is a place where history meets modern elegance – a space to create memories while honouring the past. From bespoke weddings to romantic getaways, luxury afternoon tea to corporate events, our story continues with you.
