Sad to see this come to an end. Really Enjoyed working with Rhyl BID and MarketMoore on many projects including setting up the first Halloween and Easter Rhyl town take over for two years, it was a fantastic opportunity to work with many amazing businesses in the town as well as bringing in locals and further afield visitors into the town.
The BID's manager said Rhyl has "so much to offer".

Ahoy there!! π΄ββ οΈ An absolutely brilliant Halloween event for Rhyl BID yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed creating the story, working with the fantastic RhylBID team to pull together another successful Halloween event! Going to miss you all, loved working with you this past year.
Huge thank you to the businesses that took part in the treasure hunt welcoming the treasure hunters into their shops, the entertainers and face painters who brought it to life, and the Rhyl library team for use of the community space room.

On 26th Sept the Sense of Place fortnight launch event took place at Venue Cymru. So many local tourism businesses attended, which was fantastic, and a huge thank you to all those that came to support the event.
Thank you to all the guest speakers who spoke very passionately about what the area has to offer, that creates a Sense of Place, connections, experiences and memories.

Part 2 and the finale of the Sense of Place series of events was up at Llandudno Snowsports Centre - again thank you so much to the amazing team that looked after us!
After a great open forum session with Collette, we moved onto try out the Sno-tubes, sadly the heavens opened up each time we went down, but still a lot of fun! Great activity for all ages!!
Huge thank you again to everyone that came and supported this event. Once again it was very much about collaboration and helping each other out.

Today's Sense of Place events started Amgueddfa Llandudno Museum to meet the amazing team here, we had a really informative tour around the museum - wow so much to learn about the town, and then a heritage taster town tour with a superb guide, again, we learnt so much!
Thank you Dawn and it amazing team for hosting and looking after us. It was a wonderful event, and a great way to be local tourist did the day!

Thank you so much Sonny and Bobbie for looking after us all today at your award winning 'Outstanding Restaurant of the Year' Indulge Restaurant. You really served us up a treat today! A delicious 3 course taster menu, that was divine.
It was such a lovely event, bringing fellow industry colleagues together. We loved listening to your story and the importance you place on Sense of Place and food within your menu, celebrating local suppliers all the way. It turned into a fantastic open discussion forum too with everyone asking questions, sharing thoughts.

Yesterday it was BubbleNinja 's time to be in the spotlight. This was a contemporary take on the Sense of Place theme, to celebrate new businesses that bring something different to a place.
It was a really great event, thank you to everyone that came along to support this new business in Llandudno.
.and wow loved the bubble tea tasting experience - these drinks filling and tasty - definitely worth a try!!
Lewis and Elliot were over the moon and really appreciate the opportunity to show what they do, and share thoughts on their experiences of launching a new business that's innovative, and how they can create memorable experiences for visitors and those living locally.

Event 6 this week, and wow, love this event, so many happy faces, so much laughter, Love doing this one. In its second year, and just as lovely as last year, except no covid regs this time round. What a brilliant 2 hour bite sized Welsh session this afternoon with Rhian from Dysgu Cymraeg (who is utterly amazing) at the Llandudno Bay Hotel, the team at the hotel looked after us so well.
This workshop was one of many being delivered as part of the 'Sense of Place' series of events.
The two hours flew and there was so much fun being had learning Welsh. Lots of new phrases being picked up that are great for a business or personally.
So many smiles, just brilliant to see.

This will be an afternoon not to be missed, full of food and great stories hosted by local award-winning chef and restaurant owner Sonny Walker at the recently crowned βOutstanding restaurant of the yearβ, the food awards Wales.
Sonny is passionate about using local ingredients and he will be sharing his thoughts on how food can really create a sense of place on the menu, as well as sharing his inspiring story from starting out in the local college to owning and establishing an award-winning team and restaurant, along with his wife Monika.
During the 2 hours, Sonny will be dishing up a flavoursome 3 set taster courses for you to eat, and to demonstrate how he uses local produce to celebrate provenance and Sense of Place, and the difference it can make to the food experience.
Spaces are limited, and are on a first come first served basis .

A huge thank you to everyone that attended todays Sense of Place launch that was delivered for the Llandudno Tourism Innovation Hub Project, it was a full house.
Thank you to all the speakers who took part, who were so passionate About their subject. Really enjoyed hearing about all their thoughts on what key ingredients required to create a Sense of Place, how we can connect to a place, create experiences and memories over time, grow reputations of destinations/towns, all the reasons why people keep returning or visiting for the first time.
