As florist’s we always get asked what’s our favourite flower of all the time. Which can be really hard to answer because it depends on the season. It depends on how well the flowers have grown that season. We may not use the dandelion as a cut flower and some may say it’s a w**d but the dandelion will always be my favourite flower. It’s represents my 3 wonderful children.

It’s been a crazy month here at Flowers on the Avenue. On the 31st of May I started module 3 wedding flower with the fabulous . What busy month it has been. Lots of theory, practical, assessments, stress but most of all fun. I’m so pleased to say I successfully passed module 3 with Kay’s flower school. Now to get more practice in perfect lots of new skills learned ready for the fabulous weddings next year.

What an amazing day at Moulton College. A few weeks ago we had to design a window display. My group choose the kings coronation and an English country garden. Today we got to create our window display.

Had the absolute best morning at college today.
Brief at college today was use the left overs.
So I teamed up with 2 amazing florists and we created this amazing jungle/rainforest arch.

This wreath is nearly 6 months old.
Made with completely fresh foliage.

My mum made this Christmas wreath at a workshop on the 3rd of December.
My dad put it in the garage and it’s dried perfectly. The only part that needs replacing is the sliced orange.
