Serving Monday - Friday 7am-2pm and Saturday 8am - 1:45pm.

JOB OPPORTUNITY @ New Village Kitchen
Part Time Assistant – up to 16 hours a week (+ holiday cover)
We are looking for the right applicant to be a key team member, working in a very busy, customer-focused environment. Duties include:
- serving customers
- taking food orders and customer requests over the phone
- food preparation including cooking hot food on the griddle, preparing cold sandwiches, salads, and homemade sweet and savoury baking
- cash and payment handling
- stock rotation
- general cleaning duties in and around the store and kitchen
Previous experience of working in a food or retail environment is an advantage but not essential, as all training will be provided. The successful candidate must:
- be polite and confident in dealing with customers
- have a passion for food and a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- be willing and able to multi-task
- be able to work as part of a team
- have good communication skills
- be presentable with high levels of personal hygiene
- be willing to learn and develop new skills including food hygiene qualifications
Working hours may be between 7am-2.30pm (Mon - Sat). You must be available to work Saturdays and have suitable availability during the week.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.
