So who won? Honestly I think we all did, the bait was incredible! BUT, “one wing to rule them all” 👁️
Congrats on their first battle WIN!
These guys always bring a-game chicken & to be honest their offering was on another level. The power of the Parmo! within those wings.
Followed by the incredible in second & battle vets in third.
That’s one impressive podium.
Special thanks to all vendors, the effort on this one was outstanding, super nice to be working with some new faces & places also - guys be sure to check these food pushers out as they return to their normal operations.
For now all eyes on the Argie Bhaji in November.
We’ll be announcing details for that very soon.

THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE WING 🐓
Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for our very first LORD OF THE WINGS Food Battle.
We absolutely loved the vibe, the bait, the beers, and the eventual sun on the terrace.
Feels like we’ve been waiting all year for that!
The vendors smashed the brief out the park, the tunes were amazing, the staff all made the day run super smooth, and we couldn’t be happier.
But we have one winner, one wing to rule them all.

All New Food Battle 2024

We introduce for the first time our Chicken Wing Food Battle concept at Wylam Brewery.
Building off the back of Battle of the Burger, Slice Wars, The Mexican Stand Off & The Argie Bhaji.

Our aim is simple: establish “One wing to rule them all” by inviting the best wing specialists, street food vendors, and kickin’ kitchens together in one place. A celebration of wing, and wing inspired dishes with options across the board - including kids, fussy eaters, vegans, and vegetarians. With spice & SPICY options, sides, and desserts.

Join us August 23rd & 24th, eat wings, & drinks beers.

“IT’S A TALL ORDER, BUT WE’RE TALLER” our Mexican Stand Off ‘24 WINNERS CIRCLE 🏆
Blessed with at least a gap in the weather… ish.
Taking top spot & our first collaborative champion, hands together for the epic LOBOKRUNCH - “dead or alive you’re coming for tea!” x .
Simply exquisite. Followed up by, hot off their SLICE WARS win with their epic ‘birria that’ pizza. Closely followed by the delicious & their head turning flavours!
What a year for Mexican bait fans! This is quickly becoming our biggest battle! And it’s easy to see why.
Congrats to all our vendors, the level was immense.
We still have some peoples champions to shout about but for now, there can be only Juan (which happens to be 2).
