Nile truly are unique in the American death metal scene, hailing from southern roots in Greenville, South Carolina, United States, and forged in 1993. Nile’s music and lyrics are
something to experience first hand and without a doubt is an aural and sonic onslaught for the senses.
Drawing inspiration from Ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern mysticism, history, religion, and the ancient black arts, as well as the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Nile, are a band that stand out “amongst the catacombs” of Death Metal compatriots and have carved and massacred their own unique path in an industry of soundalikes. To bear witness is to find
yourself in the company of “Those whom the gods detest”, aligned with the fervor and passion of their fans, Nile, rage forth unto the fields of battle with metal brothers and
sisters.

The old remembered stage of Arches Venue reopened for the first time last night. CV ROX first show in there went off like a house on fire. After a needed stage refurb and a long week of prep it's so good to see it pay off.

Thankyou to all who came and of course the great sets from The Session Danny Ansell Music & Tom Harris

With many more shows to come as the calendar is very packed of shows.

It is with great pleasure for CV ROX Promotions & Arches Venue to announce 80s guitar legend of W.A.S.P. Nation (Official), Chris Holmes Official will make his way to Coventry to perform at the arches.
He'll be here playing his solo songs as well as classic W.A.S.P songs he wrote.

ERADIKATOR initially set out to create face-melting, ear-shredding metal that would make even the most hardened ears hemorrhage liquid steel. Back with Divebomb Records for their third consecutive release—following Dystopia (2013) and Edge of Humanity (2015)—the U.K. quartet has, however, broadened its palette and focused on masterfully crafted songwriting with forthcoming nine-song full-length, Obscura.

Recorded with producer Russ Russell (NA**LM DEATH, AT THE GATES, EVILE) at The Parlour Recording Studio, Obscura’s 47-minute journey demonstrates a compositional raising-of-the-bar that one might parallel to MEGADETH circa Countdown to Extinction—a more streamlined and immediately memorable approach that doesn’t stray too far from its roots. From the undeniable hooks of opener “Nightmare Dawning,” ERADIKATOR‘s first-rate brand of meaty-yet-melodic thrash grows increasingly diverse—take, for example, the echoes of acts such as MASTODON or GOJIRA in “Hourglass,” or the unanticipatedly bluesy intro to the epic “I Want to Believe.”
