Don’t underestimate the power of neutrals.

If you have a small space to dress go for a a neutral colour palette. If your theme is more colourful then go for a pop of 2-3 accent colours but don’t let this overpower your neutrals.

Here, I did an all ivory backdrop with eucalyptus and floral ties. You could potentially add colour to this but it all depends on if it’s appropriate to your function and theme!

Personally I love the ivory look. It radiates timeless elegance 💕

Our beautiful new flower arch.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This arch is filled with hundreds of silk peonies, tulips, roses and hydrangeas with lots of faux foliage including eucalyptus and ivy. There is so much floral detail in this piece which gives it a real sense of depth.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here it is used as an entrance welcoming wedding guests to this small intimate wedding. This also works well with an ivory backdrop creating a really lovely piece of decor for your wedding.

This is us and a bit about our time in lockdown.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My name is Amrit and this is my family. Lockdown was tough not only for our business but countless other businesses especially in the wedding and events industry! We’ve reminded ourselves that we’ve not been alone and sometimes things just aren’t in our control. We’ve always tried to look at the positives and tried to accept the negatives and think about what can we do as a family to get through this difficult time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So... how did we use our time?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well firstly we relaxed and we recouped. We also cooked, cleaned, reorganised over and over again and had a new found love of our garden. We also used this time to rebrand the business and add elements to it we just hadn’t had the time to do before. But above all we enjoyed just being a family and are grateful to God for the time we’ve had together - something we just wouldn’t have been able to do before lockdown especially with my husbands ‘normal’ but at times insane work schedule.

What’s next?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well we continue to carry on with the above and continue to appreciate what we have even though at times it feels like our business has a medical condition- it’s been through a paralysis it’s never had before. But we somehow know it will all be okay!

We believe the future is bright. The business is already cracking on with some exciting new projects that we're going to be sharing with you soon - so watch this space!

So what does today’s announcement by the PM mean for weddings?...
Under the new lockdown update for England from the 4th July 2020 wedding ceremonies can go ahead with up to 30 guests. However, this still does mean guests must practice safe social distancing.
Our marquee walls can be removed for an outdoor wedding giving you shade in this hot summer weather... perfect for a small affair in line with government guidance!

Throwback to when we transformed a village hall to a beautiful wedding venue! ... simple for us to do but massively effective! Safe to say our clients were over the moon 💕

This is a great way to convert a somewhat dull venue into something really special and pretty. The ivory lining gives you the perfect base to be creative!

Hi guys - so we have been busy setting up the Event decor side of the business. We wanted to rebrand to encompass both Marquee and Decor ... so here we have it! Our new logo! Hope you like it.
