The beautiful Katie and Ben. From the get go I knew Katie had an eye for style and the detail. And I think you’ll agree their wedding was stunning.

So it’s been awhile and have had lots of new followers. Here is 10 facts about me…. Adelle the face behind B&W Weddings

1. Mum of 2 FlossBoss (she really is the boss, a 5yr old diva) and Fletch ( a 3yr old little monkey) And a stepmum to 2 grown boys/men!! (but they don’t like being mentioned, they have too much street cred😜)

2. I always start a diet Monday morning and usually off the wagon by Monday lunch 🤦🏽‍♀️ I love my food!!

3. When someone says something which is a line in a song I like to finish the song off! this can be a little annoying.

4. Lover of “guff” tv. Mafs, Kardashians, Selling sunset, ❤️island to name a few.

5. Love being creative which is my license to be messy!

6. We didn’t have a table plan or place settings at my wedding (was really informal & casual) so maybe this is why I love creating them for you guys.

7. Wedding season is usually powered by tea & custard creams.

8. I’ve very laid back and don’t tend to stress about much.

9. My husband says my most annoying habit is being able to fall asleep anywhere at the drop of a hat!

10. Love a challenge and a deadline. Which is needed in the wedding industry!

Can we chat Christmas? Who wants a dreamy table set up this Christmas? Impress your guests with some luxury Place settings, Charger plates, Napkins, Fancy cutlery and Show stopper centre pieces without the hassle!! We will get it all ready for you, box it up and you simple collect and pop it on your table.

REPURPOSE & REUSE ideas 👇🏽

1. Why not reuse your centre pieces down the aisle 1st? want that full aisle look but without the extra expense, then use your centre pieces and add extra lanterns/candles that can also be reused after the ceremony to dress signs, gift tables etc

2. Bridal bouquets - what happens to them after the ceremony & photos? They get put down and forgot about by your maids, sometimes just left to die in the heat. So why not use them? ask us to provide extra vases which we can put out with a bit of water in & pop the bouquets in and you have extra venue decoration; next to cake, next to the post box, either side of the top table spray, on the bar or that little space in the venue that needs something.

3. Ceremony Arches this one maybe obvious but they can be moved to behind the top table and then again later in the evening and used as photo area. Allowing spends on a neon sign 👌🏽

As it’s National best friends day, I thought it was only fitting to share a few pictures of my lovely friends wedding from last month, I’m always grateful being picked to be part of any couples special day but when it’s your friends it’s extra special. ⭐️ A LITTLE TIP FOR YOU ⭐️

If you are creating your place settings yourself or having another supplier make them;

⭐️ take time beforehand to put them into tables, and in order around the table if you can. A small envelope will do the trick it saves time on the morning and ensures everyone is instructed to sit where you want them to be seated.

We also offer on the day stationery so can take care of your place settings and put them out as part of your on the day styling package. Let us know if you want to add this to your booking.

NEW STYLING PACKAGES

As a fully bespoke styling company in the past, bundles and packages have not been something we considered offering.

But due to many factors, couples are changing the way they plan and spend for their wedding day.

So we have put ourselves in your excited wedding planning shoes and put together three on the day packages to give you a starting point, an idea on what things costs and hopefully removing some of the overwhelm. We offer arrange of other bits and pieces and will share these with you later but hopefully you will find these packages helpful.

Everyone remembers a good meal at a wedding (or maybe that’s just me!) but since being a wedding stylist I also appreciate a stunning place setting and the ‘feels’ I get when I sit down, the detail, the stationery, the textures 🥰 it all adds to the dining experience.

The start of your aisle doesn’t just have to be pretty!! why not make it useful too? somewhere for confetti & or ceremony signage. Unplugged or Pick a seat information. This can then be mirrored down the aisle.

🎉NEW SERVICES 🎉

As a fully bespoke styling company, bundles and packages have not been called for in the past.

Due to many factors, couples are changing the way they plan and spend for their wedding day. As we want to be a fully inclusive supplier we have taken the steps and put together some services to give couples different options and starting points.

We understand each couple has different ideas on what they want to spend for each element of their wedding, and this way no matter how big or intimate the day we have something to suit everyone.

Hey I’m Back 🙋🏽‍♀️

Hope you’ve all had an amazing Christmas and New Year? I’ve had a lovely long break celebrating a big birthday and enjoying Christmas through the eyes of my little humans, sooo much excitement. But I’m now ready to get back to routine and work. Who else is feeling the same?

🎉FEELING AMAZEBALLS 🎉

When you get an email from a well know company like (who I visited one of their shops for my own dress 6years ago) to say they have seen my instagram page and would love to work with me on their latest campaign. I was super flattered and said HELL YES straight away. Even more exciting was I was able to get creative with 2 of my industry friends Sophie and Lee-Anne .

These are the 1st release pictures which landed in my inbox this morning. A great way to get back into things after a few days away with my family. I can’t wait to share more with you as and when they are received.

I shared this on my story earlier but think you’ll agree it deserves a spot on the grid!!

With this gorgeous (well maybe it’s a little too hot today) weather would you opt for an outdoor ceremony?

I got married outside in the uk sunshine (in October so it can be done) so am always excited when couple say they want an outdoor set up.

My top tip for outdoor ceremonies is

☀️ have your decor/florals free standing or on your chairs so if it does have to move indoors you’ll still achieve the same look not a back up set up.

Real wedding D&R

We often get asked how to add colour but not “to too much” colour and this is a perfect example. Doing your chairs in a neutral ivory tones down the pink. Just bringing the colour in with napkin and runners makes it colourful but without being over powering. Ideal if you are having a bold/strong colour.

Hey!!!
So I am still alive, I am still here, it’s just been a crazy busy time with lots of stunning weddings, some amazing styled shoots (including this one at ) both little ones birthdays and lots of Etsy orders.

I’m back… albeit being half term and a busy bank holiday. I’m going to have an admin day today and try catch up with as many of you as I can and schedule some posts. My social media always seems to drop to the bottom of my to-do list when I’m super busy so I apologise.

In other news we have taken on a Studio Assistant so hoping that this will free up more time for me to focus of admin, marketing and growing my business. 😬 exciting times ahead.
