As part of the St Mary's Guildhall Community Engagement programme we are pleased to support Melan82025.

MELAN8 is a celebration of Black Arts and Culture, focused on the themes and intersections of Common/Unity and Community.

MELAN8 2025 is formed of THREE parts:
- THE Online Gathering| 08.03.25
- THE FESTIVAL | 29.03.25
- THE AFTER-PARTY | 29.03.25

THE OG | The Online Gathering 9.30AM-1.30PM | FREE on registration. A morning of yoga, mindfulness, somatic movement and sound healing, intersected with moments of reflection, poetry and interviews.

Panels, keynotes, live music, dance, poetry, book readings, professional development workshops on creative writing, theatrical direction and publishing, tours and audio tours, children’s arts and crafts, face painting, After-Party and an Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony.

7.30PM-12AM | Early Bird from £5
Comedy, karaoke, games, prizes and DJs playing the best music of black origin.
