Here at Coast and Country Marquees Isle of Wight Ltd we have an amazing team that works extremely hard to provide an outstanding service. Days can be long and exhausting both physically and mentally. I would like to introduce 2 team members that help ease the mental stress of this job, Brew and Sydney, our residential Patterdale terrier therapy pooches. It is Mental Health Awareness Week. It is proven that interaction with a dog for just 15 minutes is shown to:

Reduce levels of cortisol, the hormone responsible for stress.
Boost mood enhancing hormones, including serotonin & oxytocin.
Lower blood pressure.
Reduce anxiety.
Improve mental health.
Boost morale.
Aid team cohesion.
Promote feelings of trust among peers.
Spark laughter and creativity.
Help people connect with each other.
Increase socialisation and sense of community.
