Have you ever reached a point where nothing seems to bring you joy anymore
For weeks, that’s exactly how I felt.
Since losing my mum, I’ve been living with a mix of emotions that are impossible to fully explain: sadness, anger, numbness, and a sense of moving through life on autopilot.
Work, responsibilities, daily routines… I kept going, but the spark was gone.
Then I made a decision: to commit to something just for me.
I started a new training and nutrition programme with , and for the first time in a while, I’m feeling a little motivated again.
What surprises me most is that it’s not just about fitness or food. It’s about rediscovering the pleasure in small things: tending my garden, preparing meals, taking care of myself, and creating healthy habits that make me feel better both physically and mentally.
And yes, the woman who loves oil and butter flavours is now learning to enjoy balanced meals with little more herbs and spices and less fat! 🌿😅 A challenge I never thought I’d embrace, but one I’m actually starting to enjoy.
A huge thank you to for his guidance, patience, and constant support.
And an even bigger thank you to my husband who somehow manages to support all my ideas 😂including completely transforming our diet! ❤️
Grief doesn’t disappear. But sometimes healing starts with the smallest steps.
Have you ever found comfort or motivation in an unexpected place during a difficult time? I’d love to hear from you. 👇
