had a wonderful day at Tilgate Park today, filled with friends and family.
There were lots of fun activities, games, delicious food, and unforgettable moments shared. The day ended with prize medals awarded to all the children.

We give out too many sleeping bags. We wish we didn’t have to, but sometimes it’s the best we can do in the moment for someone sleeping rough, in a vehicle, in a tent or precarious accommodation, until we help find them something more permanent and secure. We have completely run out of sleeping bags, and wonder if you have a good condition, clean second hand one you don’t use any more? Or is there an individual, company or organisation that could buy us a bulk supply of new ones?

Come and try out our purpose built track and range of adapted bikes for people with disabilities.

Sessions are for ages eight to 18 and run from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
Friday 26 July,
Friday 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 August.

Sessions cost £5 (cash only – payable on the day) and there is no
need to book, simply turn up.

This month is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and as always we want to raise awareness about sexual assault within our communities. Sexual assault is when the perpetrator touches someone in a sexual way without consent or forces someone touch them in a sexual way without consent. Sexual assault is a form of sexual violence, and covers a wide range of unwanted sexual behaviours that can involve strangers or people you know. This can look like unwanted touching of any body part, fondling, unwanted kissing, r**e and so on.
You would be surprised to know (or not surprised at all) that sexual assault is very common with approximately 85,000 women (aged 16 – 59) experience r**e, attempted r**e or sexual assault by pe*******on in England and Wales alone every year. That’s roughly 11 of the most serious sexual offences (of adults alone) every hour.
