So here I am at our outlet in Three Bridges and a lady approached me saying she is about to say something random to me. Brace yourself Gav, I’m thinking!!!

She explained that during the first Covid break she had bought a bouquet of flowers from me at Horley station and my card reader had packed up. I’d told her to take the flowers and pay when she next saw me. Lockdown kicked in, she had moved and not seen me again until this afternoon. She wanted to pay!! 3 years on and she came to pay when she saw me.

And it’ll come as no surprise to those of you who know me that I didn’t take her money.

I’m so blessed, confirmation again that my belief that the vast majority of people are good people is well placed.

And todays display at the shop… open til 3:30pm. Plenty of combinations of colour and price starting at £2.50 up to £35 ready to pick up and, of course, happy to go larger for you if you wish. Planters, flowers, bouquets, daff bowls at £6….

Mind you it’s a bit disheartening when someone bluntly says ‘there’s nothing here to float my boat’ and heads off to the supermarket!! Actually madam you don’t float mine either😂
