Love is in the air… Oh wait: It's the smell of cider at our Cider Barn.😁 It's only two weeks until we re-open on Friday 14th of February!

We're hoping to see all our locals and regulars for a good catch up, a few pints of cider and (probably) pasties. We might even play a few love songs to make it a lil more romantic.

Georgie and Dave brought all the love and sunshine to North Down Orchard on 4th May! After a week of gloomy weather, the sun came out just in time to celebrate these two.

Their day was a true homegrown affair, with personal touches everywhere – from the gorgeous decorations to the incredible cake baked by a friend.

The highlight? A beautiful handfasting ceremony under a blossoming apple tree. 🌸

Congratulations to Georgie and Dave on such a heartfelt and joy-filled day. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together!

New at our Campsite this year!

We've got some fantastic updates to our campsite for 2025:

Niamh's Hideaway Shepherd’s Hut 🌿
Set in a secluded spot on the edge of the water meadow, this traditional shepherd's hut allows you to escape the pressures of life and relax in the beautiful surroundings of our nature reserve that borders the campsite.

Camping pitches with electric hook-up ⛺
We now offer TWO camping pitches with electric hook-up for a touch of modern convenience during your outdoor adventure! We also have charging sockets available in the communal kitchen, so everyone can charge their electrics.

WiFi across the campsite 🌐
Thanks to the installation of fibre broadband in 2024, there's reliable wifi across most of the campsite - so you can stay in touch with friends 'n family or browse things to do in Somerset.

We can't wait to welcome you in 2025! Booking is now available from May onwards - get your pitch booked on our website.

It might still be chilly, but we’re already dreaming of the brighter days ahead.

Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes the magic of new growth and fresh beginnings especially in our cider orchard.

"Just back from a glorious weekend here, camping and celebrating. The facilities were perfect for us, and the amount of space to explore was wonderful for our large party that included children and dogs. Loved the Cider Barn. It’s our final opening of the year tonight, and we're celebrating in true North Down style!

Join us for one last evening of cider (including mulled), great company, and plenty of festive cheer. Warmed pasties will be available to buy.

Join us for a festive evening with The Muddlers, who’ll be "folking up" both classic and lesser-known Christmas carols. And yes, you'll have a chance to sing along! 🎶

Tuck into some mouthwatering nachos from Carlos - Either chilli beef or a veggie option, served with creme fraiche and pickled onions.
