It’s such an easy event to ignore, when we are all so busy hitting targets, but having run these events for over 25 years, I’d argue they are one of the most important. It’s not just about rewarding your staff, it’s about creating an environment where people can relax, staff can communicate openly and management can take the temperature of the company. A lot more is discussed when people are relaxed and feel engaged. It’s not just about how people are feeling, but it’s about exploring ideas and seeing your co-workers in a fresh new way.
