Sea of Flowers are looking for a: Christmas Retail Assistant
A temporary position covering November - December

Part time hours in the first instance which will increase nearer to Christmas.

We are looking for a flexible person, must be a good communicator, have good organisational skills, able to work under pressure and be computer-literate.

It would be an advantage if they had their own vehicle to do the occasional delivery but not essential. Knowledge of flowers or the floristry industry is an advantage.

Full training will be given.

Restock Alert!!

We have beautiful seed cards back in stock. These have been a popular addition to our bouquets over the past couple of years and a perfect gift simply on their own.

Is it too early to mention the C word? There’s a small selection of Christmas seed cards too, grab them while you can.

There has been lots going on this week, you’re all keeping me on my toes with same day flowers.

One day is never the same and as you can see its living up to its name with lots of beautiful flowers taking over the shop.

I am open slightly later tomorrow due to it being my turn to venture out on deliveries, Friday 10-3pm and Saturday 10-2pm with the lovely Laura, it’s her first day on her own in the shop, I know you’ll all be super patient with her.

Autumn Autumn Autumn!! It’s here and we are celebrating it in style with an abundance of autumnal flowers and gorgeous grasses, have had a huge restock and it smells amazing! have restocked their iconic bright retro style clothes ready for the colder season and I’ve seen lots of you eyeing up for all those projects to work on to make your home super cosy.

The very popular Hessian Handbag, a gorgeous rustic seasonal floral arrangement. Ideal for a small space, very easy to look after and full of lots of flowers!

I am absolutely loving all the autumnal flowers especially the dahlias and the grasses and you must be too as you’ve been keeping me very busy.

Heres my summer in flowers, some of my favourites over the last few months covering gift bouquets, weddings and funerals. I love working with beautiful garden inspired flowers using seasonal as much as possible.

I’ve been settling back into work after our lovely break at the end of August. My customers have been wonderfully supportive and have been keeping me very busy! I know I have probably bored many of you with my holiday chat 😂.

Today my mum, my daughter Ivy and myself were kindly invited to the Cromer Carnival (Official) crowning of Miss Cromer as I sponsor the event with flowers.

We first spent some time at the beautiful De Paris Hotel its history fascinates me. We then watched the traditional crowning of Miss Cromer and we had a wonderful lunch made by the . Ivys highlight going in a limo up to the field.

The photo is of a beautiful mosaic outside the front door of the hotel.

One more day until I close for a summer break, I am open tomorrow 10-1pm incase you need any last minute refills, Frenchic paint or gifts. I will return on Monday 2nd September.

We are definitely more than just a florist, showcasing local entrepreneurs and if you need any of these products in your life we are open tomorrow (Friday 16th) 9.30-3pm Saturday 10-2pm and Monday 9.30-1pm.

It’s our annual summer break starting from Tuesday 20th August and return Monday 2nd September.

I am a very proud sponsor of Cromer Carnival and every year I get to arrange the silk flower arrangements for the royal party to hold at all the exciting events they take part in.

I will also provide fresh flowers for competition winners such as glamorous granny and I have the fun job of decorating the carnival float with lots and lots of gorgeous sunflowers.

Pop by our shop and pick up a carnival booklet and make a tiny donation towards this amazing annual event ran by volunteers.

Happy weekend everyone it’s been a hectic week of work and kiddies so I’m very much looking forward to the weekend.

Here’s one of our lovely Aloe Vera plants and pot looking very relaxed in its new home, we still have a few more left and we now have some cute mini ones. Pop down and have a look in our plant room.

I found something I haven’t seen in a while…the sun yay!

When the suns out so are all our little gifts like jam jar flowers, quirky little plants and dried flowers vases ideal last minute teacher thank you gifts or little treats for loved ones.
