2024 over and out! And we couldn’t have done it without every single one of our customers, family and team!
We’ve achieved so much this year and are forever grateful for everyone making this achievable! We can’t wait to see what 2025 brings us in the world of floristry.
We couldn’t have done it this year without my fabulous floristry team Danielle and Charlie, and of course our super speedy delivery drivers Robbie and my dad Alan!
We love seeing everyone’s enjoyment our florals bring within the community. So for 2024 that is us done and off till Monday 13th for a well deserved ready and only time off we take.

Charlton's Florist has been serving Crook and the wider community for over a decade. Owner Sophie-Jean Richardson took over from Lindsey Makepeace, June 2019.
Mentored under Lindsey Makepeace, Sophie has 6 years experience in the industry and a university degree. Sophie loves a vintage look, and being put to the test on creating different, extravagant creations for all Charlton’s lovely customers. Sophie is our creative lead in store, who always has the big ideas to make things happen.
Sophie feels that her employees are part of a well-oiled machine, and if you’re not around to make the machine work better and go faster then you don’t have what it takes to be part of our team. Listed below are the team members who make our machine run smooth:
Sophie Richardson - Owner of Charlton’s Florist, has over six years industry experience with a vintage flare, and an eye for perfection.
Anya Liddle - Flower enthusiast with her own family allotment. Senior staff member and nominated customer services staff member dealing with all our customer needs.
Madison Brass - Junior staff member, and Saturday worker.
Caitlin Halford - Junior Staff member, and Saturday worker.
Our designs leave the shop with a gold sticker, our very own seal of approval so that you know you are getting the best quality and design.
We are situated directly opposite The Horse Shoe, Wetherspoons.
