I completely forgot to post this last month, I was rather late in watching Call the Midwife's Christmas special, and what a surprise early on in the episode Lucille / Leonie Elliott wearing a dress that Beryl Hazelden made in the 1960s, I remember her wearing it! We sold it last year on ebay... I recognised it straight away & was able to confirm for sure as I had photos of it. She made me a little girl version! The fabric was bought in gogledd Cymru/north Wales (must have been a day off from mountaineering!). I think I took it to Quebec in 2005 and wore it as a tunic (I am several inches taller...).
Beryl was so pleased to see it being worn again.
The Galloping Cats have made costumes for theatre, dance & cabaret.
Appropriate that it was a scene about making a wedding dress

we had hoped to announcing we would be there in February - disappointed but it is the safe and sensible thing for Pembrokeshire County Wedding Fair to be postponed until 27th March

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!

Due to government restrictions still likely to be in place, and us wanting to give both exhibitors and clients the best possible experience we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Wedding fayre! The revised date will now be Sunday the 27th of march 2022. We are sorry to have to do this, I am sure you were as excited as us to get back to some sort of normality. Keep looking at this page for more details as soon as we have them. Look forward to seeing you all soon. Take care

WE ARE BACK!!!!!!

It's been a rough couple of years, and we haven't been able to have a Wedding Fayre, but that is all about to change!!!

Make a note for your diaries, Sunday 20th February 2022 sees the return of the Pembrokeshire Wedding fayre. We are moving to the Pavillion for the first one.

We will be supporting Prostate Cymru, and will be co hosted by Pure West Radio.

It has been so long, we are really looking forward to this one!!
