Still a chance to get tickets to see ABBA tribute band Take a Chance on Us at Clyst Hydon Village Hall next Friday 6th December. Tickets available from Sue or email [email protected] Keeping in theme with ABBA and Mammia Mia the Greek Gyros food van will also be serving their tasty food for purchase at the hall between 7-10pm whilst the band is here. Let the music play….

Clyst Hydon Village Hall was pleased to be chosen to host the Devon Communities Village Hall Annual Event and AGM yesterday. Many thanks to all our helpers Jane, Linda, Ro, Lorraine, Sue, Sylvia and Chris for all your efforts creating this wonderful afternoon tea for the event.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Village Hall quiz night on Friday. You were all brilliant and we are very grateful to you all for coming along and helping raise funds to keep our community hall going. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. We have various events coming up:

Saturday 28th September Lorraine’s Hospice coffee morning 11am-1pm
Friday 12th October - a night of fun, laughter and song with Mervyn Stutter
Friday 6th December - ABBA Tribute Band Take A Chance on Us - 7:30pm

DATE FOR THE DIARY - Next VH quiz night - Friday 13th September. We do hope you can join us for another fun evening. Will Aunk Professionals hold on to top spot this time round? Will Vicky actually make an earlier appearance to help Where’s Vicky? secure another place in the top three? Who knows?! What we do know is we have secured Duncan as question master for one night only - Friday 13th - unlucky for some but hopefully not for all of you. We would love to see you, all welcome, teams of 6 (just a gentle reminder if your team name is Two Too Many 😜). If you need help putting a team together just let me know. Pasty supper included. Advanced ticket purchase necessary.
