Following the resignations of two longstanding members of the Village Hall Committee at our Annual General Meeting last night, the Village Hall has two vacancies it needs to fill. Would you like to come and join us and help support our lovely village hall and the community? We would really love it if you could! You don’t need any specific skills just a willingness to get involved. A warm welcome awaits. We usually meet once a month on a Monday evening. It’s been a while…the village hall is hosting another quiz night on Friday 2nd May 7pm for 7:30pm start. We hope you can join us. Max 6 persons per team. We can help make teams if needed. £10pp to include pasty supper with pudding. Tickets available from [email protected] or Clare on 07811 492285.

New year, new resolution?? Have you thought about volunteering for Clyst Hydon Village Hall?

Clyst Hydon Village Hall is run by a very small team of volunteers and we are looking to recruit some new committee members to help keep the hall open for our community. If you can’t commit to a role on the committee what about sparing just a few hours a month with a particular activity such as helping with our general maintenance including cleaning or exterior maintenance and groundswork, fundraising or helping set up for an event, maybe taking a back office admin role? There are numerous tasks you can help with and any time or skillset you can offer would be very gratefully received by the current trustees.

Go on come and join us – it’s a great way to help enrich your community and have quite a few laughs along the way too!
