Magelake always stands ready to do more events and activities, hire fees for Magelake are now lower than they were in 2019. There are more than 14,000 users of Magelake in the last year at almost 1300 events, though we still have more capacity.

Additionally up to 300 under 16s use Magelake each week for football and sports across the season along with many adult teams in addition to the many local kids who use the pitches and Astro pitches fore recreational sports.

Magelake supports community events throughout the year helping local community groups to hold events and fundraising. We are regularly used by the schools in the village for outdoor activities, UFFCULME Lights Bingo, fundraising for local causes, supporting local businesses and much more.

It seems that some football teams are under the mistaken impression that training at Magelake is free, the pitches maintained and invested in, we would like to correct this assumption, the use of facilities at Magelake by football teams whether training or playing matches must be booked in advance and where you don’t have account paid for, this applies to both grass and mUGA/astro pitches.
If anyone knows who the teams at Magelake are this evening or any other evening this month, please do get in touch, it is not fair on Uffculme, Culm, and visiting teams who pay their way.
Individuals are more than welcome to play with their friends on Magelake grounds, but organised teams must book in advance as they would any other facility. Thank you.

The Multi Use Games Area / Astro MUGA will be closed next week from Monday 24th June to Friday 28th June inclusive for repairs to the playing surface. By donation of Uffculme Parish Council who have donated for the repairs to the playing surface. Please respect the area is out of bounds during this expensive works.

Sonic fireworks demo night at Magelake, fireworks expected between 8pm and 8.45pm this is a demonstration night run by Sonic Fireworks at Langlands. There will be a bar and food provided by Porters Grill from Cullompton.
