Sunsets this year have been truly phenomenal, just like at .westacott & wedding hosted at the stunning Brinsop Court.

Their party enjoyed a stunning day around the grounds of Brinsop, the Knot Barn hosting their speeches adorned by personalised table decor and photos of their guests.

Charlotte & Alex tied the knot yesterday at one of my favourite venues, Cefn Tilla. With beautiful personal vows to each other, the Lily Pond terrace was jam packed with guests for their outdoor ceremony, with some of the best sunshine we’ve had all year.

I briefly went to school with Charlotte in our last year of sixth form, it was such a privilege to capture her and Alex’s wedding all these years later!

Not to forgot the star of the show, Toby, their adorable dog who won best dressed dog emoji

10 Years. On the 31st of July 2015, I photographed my first wedding.

It was for my physics teacher, Zoe, and her now-husband James. For a reason that I still don’t understand, they trusted me to photograph their wedding on 10 years ago today. This set me on a course which changed the trajectory of my degree, my career, and definitely my life.

10 years and 300+ weddings in, I still pinch myself that this is what I get to do. To document. To storytell. To laugh and cry and reply to emails at 1 a.m. and be on a beach photographing a couple running down the shoreline, all within the same day. To have phone calls crying with a bride when a life-changing event has postponed their wedding. When a beloved family member has passed and if I can print something out for the funeral. To speak with crowds of photographers at conferences and even do talks and workshops of my own.

I’ve been so fortunate to document weddings across the UK, France, Greece, and Spain. I’ve made incredible friends in the industry, with my couples and with their guests. Other photographers and videographers have become like brothers and sisters to me. I’m so grateful for everything.

Every time I’ve had a setback, I get back up, I’m that bit stronger and more creative. And learn valuable lessons that mistakes do happen and I sure won’t make them again.

My photos have been printed in magazines and billboards, but more importantly, my photos grace the walls of couples’ homes, their office desks, phone homescreens, coffee table albums, and grandmas fireplaces.

My couples are at the heart of everything I do, and I always want to stay true to that mission. You have these photos for life, and I want you to cherish them.

I wouldn’t change the past 10 years for the world; the experiences I’ve had have shaped the person and the photographer I am today. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and all the couples who have trusted me. I don’t take it for granted. You make me so, so, so eternally happy and grateful.

Every wedding I attend is a privilege for me, but some truly stand out where a couple has taken a leap of faith in my ability to document their day in areas where there are gaps in my portfolio. I’ve previously photographed one beautiful Hindu ceremony and always wished for more - the vibrancy, texture and barrage on the senses make Indian weddings a visual treat to photograph.

Ankita & Connor’s wedding was one of those true privileges, over the course of two days completely transforming Canada Lodge. Connor’s Baraat procession across the grounds, invigorated by the Dragon Dholis Drummers, built the anticipation for their beautiful ceremony, my favourite part of which was the Varmala where they exchanged floral garlands and grains of puffed rice were thrown at them in a confetti like manner.

A truly mesmerising day made possible by these suppliers:

I caught up with & in May to discuss their final plans with their planner - Megan had prepared a book of all their plans, full of creativity and ideas about their vision. ā€œI just love all details of bricks and treesā€ Megan giggled as she showed us cuttings, print outs and details.

We spoke about using 35mm film throughout the day (which I cannot wait to get back from ) and the brief to capture the candid unscripted moments of interaction and playfulness between them and their guests.

Llantilio House is a new venue for me, allowing me to have fresh eyes and no preconceived notions about how a wedding should look there. Llantilio is no blank canvas however, there is texture and patina everywhere you look. It lent itself perfectly to Megan & David’s artistic and playful manner; a characterful backdrop to a couple full of humour, wit and laughter.

Surrounded by wheat fields, Llantilio reminded me of my favourite film, Interstellar. The main character lives in a barn amongst the corn fields. There is something mesmerising about the motion of the wheat swaying in the wind and the way it brushes past clothes and makes for beautiful texture in couple photos.

I felt pushed artistically forward by Megan & David’s wedding and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better couple to introduce me to such a unique venue - I truly hope I get to photograph there again soon.

There’s certain emotions, mannerisms and behaviours that can’t be scripted. They can’t be directed or guided, they’re just natural expressions of joy, sorrow and heartfelt gestures that form an individuals body language. When two people are so in tune and emotionally intelligent, as a couple, their connection becomes immediately apparent on camera. And that’s when the magic happens. A kaleidoscope of emotion and overwhelming happiness surrounded Leah & Simon’s wedding, with some of the most raw, tangible moments moving both guests and myself.

On the hottest day of the year so far, we caught some respite from the heat amongst the vines as the sun went behind the trees. ā€œDoing our first dance in the vineyard with the sun going down was probably one of the top highlights of the day, I would recommend every couple doing that as it felt like no one else was there, I was just completely in the moment with Simon.ā€

This is one of those many moments where the magic happens. The in-between moments.

has played host to some of my favourite weddings over the years - & ā€˜s day being one of them. The party didn’t stop all day, with the band in the TÅ· Haf pergola keeping the country music flowing. All guests enjoyed soaking up the evening sun with a glass of fizz in hand, dancing into the sunset.

Jodie & Arran’s wedding at Coombe Lodge was a spectacular celebration of guests spanning Cardiff to California and across the UK, with a huge dancefloor celebration that I can’t wait to share. This was truly a top ten wedding that I’ll never forget, from the couples kindness and their family’s warmth to the pure fun and energy they brought, I truly couldn’t have asked for more. 10/10 vibes 🪩
