Well what a week it's been for us! 😍 We've been so busy with our Occasionwear sale that we missed that we're finalists for not one, not two, not three, but FOUR awards!! Not only are we finalists for the Scottish Wedding Awards for the 5th year running, but we also are also finalists in the Nation's Wedding Awards, and in the Confetti Wedding Awards - for Best Wedding Dress Retailer and Best Occasionwear Retailer 🥰

As a small family run business, we are always eternally grateful when we recieve any kind of nomination. Our team may be small, but the love for what we do (and our amazing selection of 100s of dresses!) more than makes up for it. Helping ladies finding a dress that makes them feel beautiful is the most magical job in the world.

Wedding dress shopping is fun but also nerve-wracking! And we know a lot of brides are anxious when it comes to bridal shopping, so here’s some tips about how you can reduce the stress and enjoy the process 🥰 1 - Bring a small entourage of only trusted friends and family. It’s fun to invite your whole bridal party but in reality, lots of opinions can overwhelm you, and all those eyes on you can be a bit much. Ideally you’d have no more than 2/3 people at your appointment.✨ 2 - Ask your bridal boutique about anything you’re not sure about! Most boutiques have small teams who can answer anything you need to know via phone or email. You might want to know what the space is like, what sizes they have in stock, how many dresses they have in your budget. You might just want them to talk you through the whole process! At our boutique, we’re only a phone call, email or DM away for any questions ❤️ 3 - Choose a boutique with a private space. This depends on what you’re most nervous about, but in our experience brides who are nervous prefer the privacy of a boutique that has an enclosed bridal suite, rather than an open plan where onlookers from other parties might see you. We offer a completely private bridal suite where brides and their entourage have total privacy to try on gowns. This is the new name of Brides & Belles of Dalbeattie, We are the biggest bridal boutique in South West Scotland with over 200 dresses to choose from. There is a good chance you will find your perfect dress. Our collections of order in bridal gowns with prices starting at £350, flexible payment plans are available. We prefer appointments so you will get an hour and a half of personal attention to help you find your perfect gown, from designer such as Ian Stuart Bride, Stella York, Mary’s Bridal, Tiffany designer dresses, Emma Bridals and Hilary Morgan. Our bridesmaids range starts at £160 from Emma Brides, Tiffany Designer Dresses and AngelB with these great designers the opportunities are endless. Not forgetting the little ones our stock of flower girl dresses from age 3 months and available is a range of designs and colours. Our accessories include funky shoes by Irregular Choice and beautifully designed double padded ones for comfort from Perfect Bridal Shoes. To finish the look with a veil what ever the length and/or some head jewellery to give you even more sparkle on the day just to make sure you get the full attention on your Wedding Day.
