Ladies of the parish and friends…

We would like to invite you to join us to celebrate the Irish Epiphany tradition of Nollaig na mBan, where women would take the day off, visit each other for tea and finish off the Christmas cake. Their menfolk/families would cover their usual work.

Expect great conversation over drinks from the bar with a shared table of Christmas leftovers and treats and some elegant background music.

No need to book – just turn up!

The AGM for the Parish Club and the Parish Centre Committee will be held in the Parish Centre at 8pm on Sunday 8th September. All members are invited to attend.

At the meeting, Directors of the Club and the members of the Parish Centre Committee will be standing for re-election. Anyone wishing to stand for either Committee is asked to put their name on the proposal forms which will be displayed on the Parish Centre notice board. Anyone proposing to stand as a Director of the Club will need to be proposed and seconded by two members of the Club. Nominations should be made at least 10 days in advance of the AGM.

If anyone has any items for the agenda for either meeting, could you please notify the Secretary of the item in writing no later than September 1st. This can be done by emailing [email protected] or leaving a letter at the bar during opening hours.
