FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

UNITY Fighting Championship presents a UAR Catchweight fight.

First up is Newton Aycliffe fighter Jess Catleugh, who represents Sensei MMA. This will be Catleughs second walk to the UNITY cage, with her last resulting in a 2nd round TKO win over Lisa Matthews. Catleugh is now looking forward to another appearance on local soil.

Standing across the cage will be Polands Agata Krynicka, who fights out of Glasgow's Griphouse gym. This will be Krynicka's second fight, her debut resulted in a decision win over Lana Campbell.This should be an entertaining fight as these two ladies go to war.

UNITY Fighting Championship presents a UAR Middleweight fight.

First up is Ireland's Toby Aneni, who fights out of DNA MMA. This will be Aneni's second appearance inside the UNITY cage with his last resulting in a 1st round TKO, which was followed up by a recent decision win on Caged Steel against Elliott Dring-Hill

Facing Aneni will be Scotland's Adam Thomson, who fights out of Glasgow's Griphouse gym. Thompson's last fight was on Rise and Conquer, which saw him take the win via 3rd round knockout against Marcos Nzee. This should be a great fight between these two up and coming fighters.

FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

UNITY Fighting Championship presents a UAR Batamweight title fight

Current defending Champion Luke Penberthy makes his first title defence since capturing the belt in a great fight against HMAC fighter Arran Legge. With 14 fights already under his belt and fighting on local soil once again, Penberthy is looking forward to stepping back inside the UNITY cage to put on a show as he represents SBG Bishop Auckland.

Stepping in to face Penberthy is London fighter Dacre Bradley, who represents Great Britain Top Team. In his last fight inside the UNITY cage, Bradley unfortunately fell short with a decision loss to Scotland's Ellis Pilkington. Since that bout, Bradley secured a win on Cage Warrior's Academy against Julian Torhaug and he is now back to challenge Penberthy for the bantamweight strap.

Both guys are looking forward to showcasing their skills, will it be and still, or and new?

UNITY Fighting Championship presents a UAR Flyweight Title fight

With the flyweight belt vacated the first fighter to step up for his shot at UNITY gold is Shawon 'Beast Boy' Choudhury, who fights out of Ace MMA. After capturing both the UKFC and Almighty FC flyweight belts, he now follows his team-mates as he makes his UNITY debut. Choudhury is an experienced all-rounder who has shared the cage with top level fighters such as Joe Fields and Connor Walsh. This time he gets to fight on local soil as he looks add the UNITY flyweight strap to his collection.

Across the other side of the cage, will be Scotland's Lee 'Flashbang' Ferguson who fights out of Glasgow's Newlife Gym. This fight was originally scheduled for last year, unfortunatly it fell through, Ferguson instead faced Malik Basahel who is now one of Europe's best flyweights with 22 fights under his belt. Ferguson unfortunatly fell short of capturing the belt via a 4th round submission. However, since then he has captured Machine MMA British title as he took the decision win against Ryan Bowness.This will be Ferguson's third time inside the UNITY cage as he looks to take the title back to Scotland.

A great match-up between two very talented young fighters....

FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

UNITY Fighting Championship presents a UAR Featherweight Title fight

With the featherweight belt vacated the first fighter to step up is South Shield's Sami 'The Tank' Hoque, who fights out of Ace MMA. With a record of 9-0 it's no surprise that many don't want to be standing across from Hoque when that cage door shuts. He now follows his brothers and team-mates as he makes his UNITY debut, fighting on local soil he looks to stay undefeated and take the featherweight strap back to south Shield's.

Across the other side of the cage, the one who stepped up to take the challenge against Hoque, will be Yusuf 'The Turkish Delight' Kurt. Representing Scotland's Crowning Glory MMA, Kurt has been racking up wins and taking belts across multiple organsiations. He is a great all-rounder who doesnt shy away from a stand-up war. He is also making his UNITY debut and has his sights set on taking away yet another strap for his collection.

Both guys are looking forward to showcasing their skills in what should be a great match-up between two very talented young fighters....

Former UNITY fighting championship fighter Jordan Vucenic finally gets the call to step inside the UFC cage!

Vucenic has been highly regarded as one of the UKs top prospects with a solid all-round game. Known more so for his sharp aggressive striking style, he has recently displayed his grappling skills with a four fight win streak, all resulting in submission finishes.

The former Cage Warriors featherweight world champion holds an impressive record of 13-2. After making light work of Adrian Kepa on July 20th, he steps up on short notice to take on Guram Kutateladze in Abu Dhabi next weekend.

This will be Vucenic's toughest fight to date as he faces the 12-4 Georgian on the worlds elite MMA promotion.

Best of luck Jordan, you've got this. The whole of the UK is behind you!

With another event over, we would like to show our appreciation to all those involved that make the event possible, so here goes...

As always first and foremost a huge thank you to all the fighters that step inside the cage. From debut guys taking that first step and having the courage to get in there, test themselves and showcase their skills. To the seasoned fighters stepping up to fight the highest level opposition in their quest for Championship gold. Not forgetting the coaches, team-mates and gym's that put in the time and hard work to develop and support these guys on their journey.
