Not a dig at previous customers at all, just had this booking at The Whitehart in Erith and their stairs give me nightmares lol. It's not a big deal if your venue has stairs, just let us know when booking so that we can allocate enough people for the job. I'm 4ft11 and transporting a 6.5ft board up and down steep, narrow stairs isn't quite what I would call fun. It's really simple, actually! All you have to do is follow these steps: 1. CHOOSE 2. YOUR 3. ERA Hey, I didn't say it's easy. It's simple! Different things, you see! There's no point pretending everything is nice and pink when it isn't. You can't possibly be everything you want to be, so I'm a huge believer that we should choose our ERAS. Yep. You know how now it's trendy to say "I'm in my mum era"? Just like that. Pick something you want to be NOW and prioritise that. Keep everything else alive. It's ok. In my case, as much as I love my business, my whole life revolves around my Sasha. I've been in my MUM ERA for over 5 years now since I got pregnant, so there was no point pretending I'm something else. I stood by my decision, although it was sooo frustrating at times. Countless times, I felt that by prioritising my MUM ERA, I was missing out on all the success everyone else seemed to be experiencing in the industry. Everyone had their perfect white studios with fancy sponsorships and hundreds of thousands of followers. I couldn't commit to running an academy or a studio as I knew this would have meant I wouldn't be able to be there for my son whenever he needed me. And this was a hard choice for me to make. No, it doesn't make me a bad mum, nor a bad business woman, just a human being trying to juggle life. In the end, I truly believe nobody has it all. Soon enough, I'll embrace my ENTREPRENEUR ERA. I have no regrets about choosing my mum era! If I'll never hit the insane success I envision, it won't be because I came in a bit later for sure.
