ā€œHypnosis is fake — just stooges pretending.ā€

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 1 – Real Reactions, Every Time
If stooges were needed, I couldn’t perform for crowds where everyone knows each other.

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 2 – Suggestion Creates the Magic
Hypnosis works because people buy into the suggestion. The genuine laughter and shock are impossible to fake.

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 3 – Clients Rebook
Venues wouldn’t rehire me year after year if it was staged. The authenticity is what makes it unforgettable.

Friday night at Chapos at the Caledonian in Ashton-in-Makerfield was unforgettable.

The volunteers became human typewriters.

Fingers flying.

Eyes fixed on imaginary paper.

Every keystroke typed faster than the one before.

The crowd were already in stitches.

But then it went up another level.

Because those same volunteers instantly transformed into human washing machines.

Spinning.

Whirring.

Rinsing through a full cycle like their lives depended on it.

The laughter shook the room.

The energy was electric.

And everyone left with a story they couldn’t wait to tell.

That’s what a hypnosis show does.

It turns a normal night into an extraordinary memory.

12 people.

That was Saturday night at The Woodsman in Clayton le Woods, Leyland.

The weather was wet.

The crowd was small.

But the reactions were huge.

Laughter.

Gasps.

Mind-reading moments that no one will forget.

Because whether it’s 12 or 1,200…

The show always gets everything I’ve got.

šŸ”„ How do you make sure a community celebration doesn’t feel like ā€œjust another eventā€?

You fill it with unforgettable moments.

This afternoon I had the honour of performing close-up magic and mind reading at the Leeds Road Festival in Bradford with the amazing team at Akbar’s Restaurant.

The whole event was dedicated to celebrating the life of Shabir Hussain, the man behind Akbar’s.

Shabir didn’t just run restaurants. He created a place where families came together, where friends made memories, and where hospitality was taken to a whole new level.

That’s why the festival mattered.

It solved the problem of how you celebrate a life so full, and a legacy so powerful — by bringing people together in joy, laughter, and connection.

My job was to add a little extra magic to the mix. And seeing the reactions — the smiles, the amazement, the laughter — was proof that it worked.

Thank you to Akbar’s for inviting me to be part of such a special day.

šŸ”„ What do you do when every night out starts to feel the same?

You find something that blows the routine wide open.

That’s exactly what happened last night at Chapos at the Caledonian in Ashton-in-Makerfield.

The energy in the room was electric.

One moment, jaws were dropping at impossible feats of mind-reading mentalism.

The next, the whole place was roaring with laughter as the comedy hypnosis show took over.

The volunteers were the stars of the night — and Sharon and Vicki were absolute superstars.

And the regulars brought some of the best banter I’ve had in ages.

This is the answer when ā€œjust another night outā€ isn’t enough.

Huge thanks to Gaz and the brilliant team at Chapos for hosting and making it all possible.

If you were there, you know.

If you missed it, you’ll want to make sure you’re first in line for the next one.

šŸ’ Myth Statement
ā€œMentalism only works on stage.ā€

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 1 – Even Stronger Close-Up
When it happens inches away, it hits harder. It’s not distant theatre — it’s personal impact.

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 2 – Everyday Objects, Mind-Blowing Outcomes
Predictions delivered by text before the event… revealed at the table. Impossible, right in the palm of your hand.

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 3 – Tailored to Any Setting
Boardroom or banquet hall, close-up mind reading adapts seamlessly.

This one gave everyone goosebumps. šŸ—“ļøāœØ

Steve wrote down a special date.

It could have been anything — a birthday, an anniversary, a private milestone.

The paper stayed hidden.

No one saw a thing.

But here’s the twist…

It just so happened to also be a significant date in history.

So when I revealed it out loud, the entire room felt the impact.

Steve was stunned.

The audience leaned forward.

It was personal… and yet it resonated with everyone.

That’s why mentalism works on such a deep level.

At a wedding, it creates goosebump moments guests never forget.

At a corporate event, it makes the entertainment meaningful, not just background noise.

It solves the problem of keeping guests glued to the show instead of drifting into small talk.

And believe me — the finale was even bigger. šŸŽ¤šŸ”„

šŸ’ Myth Statement
ā€œStage hypnosis humiliates people.ā€

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 1 – Stars, Not Victims
The fun comes from imagination, not embarrassment. Guests become co-stars in the show, not the punchline.

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 2 – Laughter With, Not At
The humour comes from situations, not from mocking anyone. People leave buzzing, not red-faced.

āø»

🚫 Debunking Point 3 – Walking Off With Applause
Volunteers earn bragging rights and applause from their colleagues — they walk taller, not smaller.

WOW. You should have seen James’ face. šŸ˜²šŸƒ

At the start of Mike & Sue’s wedding, three guests wrote down secret thoughts.

James chose a playing card.

No one saw it.

No one had a clue.

The slip stayed folded the whole time.

And yet… within moments, I named the exact card he had written.

The room exploded.

Gasps. Laughter. Disbelief.

That’s the magic of mentalism — it hits immediately.

At a wedding, it brings the whole room together right from the start.

At a corporate event, it breaks the ice and gets people talking across tables.

It solves the problem of those awkward, quiet beginnings where energy can dip.

And that was just the first reveal…

Part 2 will blow your mind. šŸš€

What happens when you mix K-Pop, Hypnosis, and a little bit of Eminem?

You get guests at Mike & Sue’s wedding turned into international rap superstars… who can only perform in an ā€œEastern Asianā€ language (or at least, what they thought was one 🤣).

The room was in stitches.

Volunteers lived out their dream of being in a world-touring band.

And just when the crowd thought it couldn’t get any funnier… one of the band members decided to go solo.

The reaction was electric.

The laughter was unstoppable.

And the memory is one that every guest will carry with them long after the wedding day.

This is what happens when you choose a hypnosis and mentalism show to bridge the gap between the food and the evening entertainment — you turn downtime into showtime.

Congratulations again to Mike & Sue — your wedding band might not have been real, but it definitely brought the house down.

And for everyone else… hit play on the clip below and see why this show is fast becoming the must-have ingredient for weddings across the North West.
