DAVFEST 2023, HERE WE GO!!

So this is it, we are back!

29th July 2023 - Daventry Sports Club, Western Avenue, Stefen Hill, NN11 4ST

Following on from the huge success of Davfest22, we have put our heads together and decided, well, lets do it again!

This year we have another HUGE line up, with music for all ages.

We have bigger bars, we have more traders, we have more activities, we have more food, we have more tickets!

But we also maintain our standards providing the safest, cleanest, most fun filled music day of the year for the town.

For those that attended last year, Davfest year 1, you were part of the nearly 2 thousand people that put your faith in us to deliver something this town has never seen. And we hope we delivered!

This year we want to double that. 4000 tickets are being made available.

We have returning partners Juice Sound Ltd providing the amazing stage set up and sound. Truly the talking point of the day about how epic the music sounded and the stage wowed!

We have many other partners that again are returning, each of which will be announced shortly.

Also this year we have some new amazing sponsors. Local companies that are investing in making your day that little bit better, and over the coming weeks we will be profiling all of them.
We are still open to more sponsors, so please, if you are interested, or the company you wok for are, pass on my details [email protected] and I will be more than happy to have a chat with them.

We are building a shopping / traders village, so again if you are a local company wanting to showcase your trade, please get in touch as we are selling pitches now.

We are planning for a load more activities for the kids. Some will just come for the music, but some will want other things, and we are very much on board with keeping the little ones entertained.

We have bigger bars. If the kids are entertained, we must make sure the adults are well catered for ;)

Ultimately though, we want to do this for all of you.

This is our town, this is our event, this is our day, lets make it one to remember (again!)

As you can imagine, putting on these events is not for the faint hearted, and we are still just sorting the final legal details to be able to fully announce what is going to be a truly epic day.

The line up we have this year is insane, with some huge acts covering a load of different genres of music.

Whilst we are not in the position yet to go "fully public" what we can do is let you know when, so you can make the necessary arrangements to get your dancing shoes ordered!

So today we can announce that the date for DavFest23 will be the 29th July 2023

Thank you to everyone that has shown support for this event.

We genuinely can not wait to get things underway and bring the people of the town together for a day of fantastic music, beers (or non beers for the young ones), food, and lots and lots of fun, whilst also raising a few pennies for the amazing Macmillan Cancer Support

3 weeks to go so time to release the new shiny poster.

10 bands confirmed over the 10 hour event (so that’s basically £2 a band on your ticket!! )

20 + local traders selling their goods and promoting their small businesses, so let’s give them some love after the hell of the past few years.

Bars, food, bungie runs, maybe not in that order!

Ice cream van, let’s all hope that Queeny has a word with the big man and the orange / yellow thing in the sky comes out like it did today for her Jubilee!

Lockdown Events who are hosting this with Juice Sound was created by 2 guys who are Daventry born and bread, that came up with this idea 2 years ago. We stood there one night and thought “we love this town, and we want to do something for it”

Originally planned for August 2020 we thought it would be an amazing thing to celebrate coming out of our 1 month lockdown …. Well we all know how that story went

So 2 years later … here we are … well better late than never eh?

We have had amazing support from loads of people, and a huge thank you to all.

A massive shout out to Junk Monkey who have backed us all the way. Absolutely superb guys and one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. Please speak to them about any domestic or commercial waste matters you have, and quote Davfest … you won’t get a discount, but it will show how much we love these guys! (They might give you a discount .. don’t quote me on that though!)

Ticket wise we have 10 VIP left … and once they are gone thats it, no more. We made more space for demand, the demand has been huge.

There are day tickets left, but they are selling fast, with over 150 sold in the past 72 hours. We are capped at 2500 for the day, so once they are gone they are gone.

Tickets are not available on the day as cash sales. However, you can walk up and see if there is space still and buy the ticket via the ticket link. Tickets have to be bought on the online link only to satisfy a few rules etc (long story I’ll tell you over a beer one day if you are actually that bothered)

We are also hugely honoured to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support on the day, and helping an absolutely amazing organisation.

There is so much going on on the day, we want to make it special for you guys.
