We buried a sausage!
I know this sounds like we’ve lost the plot 😬… but hear us out…...
It is in fact an old wife’s tale. Apparently if you bury a sausage in the garden the night before your wedding it will bring you good weather 🌤️
On the day of Charlotte’s wedding the weather wasn’t looking great. It was supposed to rain at the time of her ceremony and the drinks reception afterwards.
So yep, we gave it a go, what did we have to lose? We buried a sausage in the garden of the Airbnb! (sorry to the Airbnb).
The next morning, we woke up to find it was going to be sunny all day! Coincidence………. we think not!
So take our advice and bury that sausage 😂 What have you got to lose?
Might be best to let us know if you’re planning on doing it at The Granary though. Everyone knows we are dog friendly and have Granary dogs in the office most days.
We’d hate for them to eat your sausage 😂.

Our next Wedding Open Day is on Sunday 17th March. We'll be open to new couples from 11 am until 1 pm, and existing couples from 1-3 pm. Wow… how are we in December already?! The Granary Team decided to get in the Christmas Spirit and made our own Wreaths! We had such a great evening sipping Prosecco and getting creative! Thankyou to EDEN WILD for such a fab evening! 🎅🏼🎄.

Hello! 👋 If you're new around here this is us....
We're a family run, exclusive use barn wedding venue located in the Northamptonshire countryside. We cater for weddings up to 160 guests and have 10 bedrooms on site.
We think our stunning location is our best feature, but inside is pretty nice too! If you would like to see, DM us with 'tour' and we will book you in for a private viewing.
