Thank you to everyone who came to the 2023 Bollywood Dinner Dance on Saturday night. It was a fabulous night full of fun, great company, dancing and fantastic music - with Andy Saunders the DJ, Desi Nach Bollywood Dancers, and food by Mark Higgs and of course a massive thank you to all the amazing bar staff and all the VH volunteers.

Thank you to everyone that came to the Fireworks on Sunday - we were incredibly lucky with the weather. We would like to apologise to anyone inconvenienced with the traffic. As always these events depend on a big team of volunteers who need a massive shout out for setting up, running the bar, the food and the parking - as well as the PTA selling children's "stuff". All funds raised will be going towards the Village Hall extension - well done Boddington! Happy New Year to everyone - the Village Hall Coffee morning resumes again this Friday 5th Jan 10-12 noon. For January we are offering free tea and coffee to everyone (in conjunction with Boddington Good Neighbours) to create a "Warm Hub" - so bring your neighbours, and come for a chat and hot drinks. Cake and Sausage Butties available as normal.

Calling all stall holders! The fabulous Boddington Christmas Fayre this year is on Sunday 27th November, 11-2pm & we're now taking bookings for stalls. Stalls cost just £15, contact us on [email protected] or Hammarling for further information or to make a booking. It's going to be Santastic (do you see what we did there?) Come and join us!

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Macmillan coffee morning on Friday - between us we raised a whopping £1,150 from the raffle and from an amazing amount of cake, coffee and sausage butties! Special thanks to Trisha Wilson and her volunteers as well as the Village Hall volunteers. And a big thank you to everyone who came and donated and ate cake for this very important cause.

In memory of HM The Queen
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family following news that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, has passed.
A book of condolence will be available to sign at the Village Hall meeting room from 10am tomorrow morning. This will be available from 10am to 7pm each day.
The friday morning cafe will take place tomorrow morning at 10am and is an opportunity to share our thoughts and condolences.

What a fantastic morning at Boddington Village Hall cafe fundraising for Ukraine. Thank you to all the amazingly generous people who came (or passed on donations) -a total of £2,003 was raised for the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Thank you all.

A massive thank you to everyone that came to our fireworks event yesterday evening. It was lovely to see so many happy people there to enjoy the display. This Saturday we have a new "Really Awesome Coffee" van at the Village Hall and Charles Cowper Field park. They will be there from 10-3pm and will have bacon butties, cake and coffee. They are testing whether it is worthwile - so go along and have a chat with Mike to tell him what you would like!

Also Rising Stars bike coaching will be on between 2-3pm, non members are welcome at £3 for the session. These are the coaches that were there on the grand opening.

Today there is a bike register scheme going on at Boddington Village Hall/CCPF which is the police approved cycle marking and registration scheme. They will permenantly mark your bike meaning that is less likely to be stolen, and you can also buy a marked second hand bike with confidence. They will be there until 3pm today, just take your bike along.
