I love working with Luke at events 😍 Lighting really makes a huge difference to a venue and I adore Lukes vintage amber festoon lights, as they not only give off a gorgeous glow but are a decoration in themselves. I installed the foliage here on Luke's large hoop and across the windowsills and other areas. The smell of fresh foliage was gorgeous in the room. More photos to come...

Wedding bell tents ❤️ Not only do I plan and coordinate weddings, but I also am the proud owner of lots of gorgeous Bell Tents which I install at weddings, campsites, festivals and in gardens..in fact wherever someone needs pop up accomodation! Or perhaps you need a children's play tent or a chill area. They also make amazing bars and tea houses!

Perfect for guests, and of course, I offer bridal tents as well 😍

Images credit to who I brought in to install his gorgeous vintage lighting in the Celeste marquee from to compliment the hanging oranges and foliage on the truss. Fran was adamant she wanted to hang oranges and boy was she spot on! She worked so hard with her bridal party the day before hanging the oranges and the scent in the marquee was divine. The oranges gave such a pop of colour everywhere and coupled with the most colourful flowers I have every seen the whole marquee looked incredible. So many more photos to come so watch this space!

The lighting was paramount. Luke installed festoon inside and outside on poles, with uplighting used to spread the colour scheme throughout. He also provided a disco lighting package as well as all of the power distribution for the toilets, bar and catering. Luke is my go to lighting supplier and I have worked with him for over 10 years now. His vintage lighting is my absolute favourite as it immediately creates a gorgeous, warm atmosphere and compliments every style of marquee.

When I am looking at styling in a venue it always starts with the lighting. It is the basis for everything.

Friday Flashback to the beautiful winter wedding of Lauren and Alex. I was faced with a venue made up of a huge steel barn, full of farm machinery and more and so simply turned it into a gorgeous winter wonderland of warmth and atmosphere, using vintage amber lighting, candles and foliage. The whole room smelt and felt divine and even though it was -2 degrees outside, the warmth of Lauren and Alex and all their family and friends, and the atmosphere of the venue kept everyone partying into the night!

Happy 2nd Anniversary Matt and Becky! ❤️ Funnily enough I have been reminiscing with your family tonight, right at the stunning location that your wedding was held in and we went over so many amazing memories, of that beautiful day your! Those memories are so vivid, from your beautiful smiles and gorgeous ceremony setting on the hill, the aroma of eucalyptus everywhere, the stretch tent sheltering everyone from the heat of the day with warm inviting lighting, one of the best ever Best Man speeches with props to match and the silent disco shenanigans at the end of the night which were truly the funniest and most joyous ever! A truly beautiful family affair full of love and togetherness for you both. And now you have beautiful little Zack and I couldn't be happier for you both. Thankyou for allowing me to be a part of your wedding, planning and bringing your visions and dreams to reality. I loved every second of it amd wish I could relive it all again! Sending you both so much love ❤️

As well as planning and managing weddings I also have lots of these glorious bell tents and have the pleasure of installing them at weddings, campsites and gardens galore! Last weekend I installed a bridal bell tent and tents for guests at one of my favourite venues, the beautiful for the wedding of Aretha and Chris ❤️ Battleford is a little piece of heaven in a magical, hidden valley deep in South Devon and must admit to having stopped on that hill for a while, soaking up the peace and tranquility, after we had installed the tents!

High up on a hill, overlooking the most spectacular view of beautiful Devon, the utterly gorgeous humans that are Fran and Tom got married in front of their amazing family and friends ❤️ This was a day so full of love and smiles that I could burst just thinking back to it! Such a beautiful couple, who were a total joy to work alongside as their wedding planner and on the day coordinator. Milkchurns full of Delphiniums, marquee full of oranges 🍊 (yes oranges..simply stunning!) and the most beautiful colourful flowers everywhere. 🌸🌼
So many beautiful photos to follow, taken by the exquisitely talented Ivyhouse Photography I cannot wait to share them with you. This day is one I will never forget and so very grateful to have been a part of it ❤️🙏

The extraordinarily talented Pottery & Posies. created her beautiful dried flower bouquet. I adore Sians work and I have it on good authority that the bouquet takes pride of place at home, and makes Jem smile every day!

Jem and Dan celebrated their marriage a couple of days later with a party for family and friends, which I planned, coordinated and managed for them. My team festival styled a huge barn, ran the bar for them and cleared down and managed the while event.

Some weddings and events I truly wish I could do all over again and this is one of them. ❤️

✨ Janet’s birthday party at home ✨

I had the pleasure of coordinating and managing the most enchanting garden birthday party for the gorgeous Janet!
The setting was perfect - she wanted to entertain her guests at home with a marquee in her driveway, with feasting style trestle tables and delicious food from Tara who runs . We helped with the set up, managed the bar, carried out food and drink service and then cleared down. What added to the whole event was the warm, inviting lighting that was installed all over the garden by my favourite lighting designer . Trees and shrubs were lit up and it provided a beautiful space to sit in for the guests.

If you’d like to host a party in your home, but don’t want to have to set it all up, work all evening managing everything and most definitely dont want to do the clearing down, then this is where my team come in, leaving you to relax and enjoy your party, in the knowledge everything is taken care of!  🙏

Congratulations to this beautiful couple! ♥️
What a joy and privilege it was to be the ‘On the Day Coordinator’ for Portia and David’s gorgeous wedding at beautiful Colehayes Park. I worked closely with them for the few weeks beforehand, bringing all their plans together for them, liaising with their guests and all suppliers involved to ensure a seamless weekend for them at this wonderful location.

They also hired in my wonderful wedding team, who covered everything from setting up and styling, welcoming guests and showing them to their rooms and all the food and drink service. We facilitated their outdoor ceremony at the Pagoda and ensured they had their wish of eating their wedding breakfast outside in Colehayes gardens. We staffed their bar throughout the day, long into the night and ensured everything was managed so that they didn’t have to worry about a thing!

It truly was a wedding to remember and I feel so blessed and honoured to have been a part of something so truly special 🙏

Ivyhouse Photography you are incredible! Mind you the subject matter this weekend made it all rather easy for us!
