Thankfully everyone paid attention to the weather warnings. Wouldn't fancy my chances going in or out the shop when it collapsed.

Kerry & Scott | The Den at Culross - Weddings | 17th August 2024

My first visit to this venue which is just 15 minutes from home, and WOW, what a truly gorgeous spot to have a wedding. I really hope to get the chance to film again here in the future.

The day began meeting Sara Amelia Photography who it was a pleasure to work alongside for the first time, look forward to seeing the photos ( got a good video of you taking a wee break in the corn field🤣🤣) The bridal party were getting ready in the cottage just along the road from the venue so it was great being able to split the morning preps and include some footage of Scott and the boys and also catch some of the pre ceremony drinks reception, before Kerry made her way over to the barn for a first look with a very proud dad.

A beautiful ceremony was conducted by Melanie Leckie Humanist Celebrant where they exchanged vows and said I do in front of close family and friends, along with their adorable 2 kids Tilly and Archie.

From there it was out for the confetti parade and a big group photo. The guests were entertained by some live music from the couples friend Craig, who also headed the band in the evening, which gave us a chance to take Scott and Kerry off for a couples photoshoot in the picturesque field and gardens before shooting the family and formal pictures back in the courtyard.

The evening celebrations got under way with some heartfelt speeches before everyone got tucked into the wedding breakfast. After a quick break it was back to catch the evening guests arriving before the couple were introduced into the room to cut their cake and take to the dancefloor for their first dance as a married couple.

Thank you so much for having me along to capture these special memories and all the very best in your future together as Mr and Mrs McIntyre.

Delighted to share the highlights video of this lovely couples special day from a few weeks ago at the exquisite Boswells Estate Weddings

The day began meeting up with Karen Simpson Photography for the first time. Was a pleasure working alongside you and thanks for everything on the day! Also a huge thanks to the team at Boswells who couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful to the suppliers.

After managing to capture Lauren and the girls getting ready we headed out and managed to put the drone in harms way with David Ross hurtling down the drive way towards it. He and the groomsmen were all in good form and ready for the days celebrations so it was back to see the girls last minute preperations.

From there Evelyn Robertson conducted a lovely, personal ceremony where the couple were surrounded by their close family and friends. They said I do, had a shot, then out for their confetti parade. It was absolutely baking outside so shade was a must for the formal photos. The beautiful marquee at Boswells was the setting for the wedding breakfast then onto party the night away.

Thanks so much for having me along to be a small part of your special day and capture these precious memoires. I hope you enjoy watching them back for years to come and all the very best in your future together as Mr and Mrs Nicol.
