My styling is, in essence, a sense of boho spirit. I put a whole lot of me into every design and styling process.
When Ceri first contacted me, I was so excited to hear her sensational plans, very much alot of me! A gorgeous neautral palette, boho luxe style with a Tuscan/ Mediterranean vibe. All the exquisite combinations of texture, natural fabrics, stoneware, brass candlesticks, hyacinth placemats, linen napkins, and dried florals, completely timeless and romantic. We went big and ethereal in spirit with their ceremony, asymmetric drapery to the beams, creating a dreamy space over a crescent moon rug aisle and pampas vases.
Ceri knew her vision, and it's been such a blooming amazing experience planning every detail with her to perfection. And to collaborate with was a dream!
Im already missing our regular WhatsApp catchup, and I am forever grateful for all my amazing couples this season!
And so chuffed when photographers get all these yummy details!

Before I share some of Jodie & Jason's beautiful Wedding, here's some styling details of their day.
Jodie came to me a few months before via with a brief of pinks, greens and drapery, my boho style, and something to subtly incorporate her love of horses. I briefed big tipi timbers drapery, cascading british grown florals (more coming soon for the top table arrangement), and a double-sided banner as J&J were celebrating their joint 40th the following day too.
I closely collaborated with Cate and Emily , Tanya , and Beth to bring their romantic vision to life, an absolute dream team!
Plan B came in to play due to the weather, so we moved their outdoor ceremony indoors. Photographing tipis is a skill! Love these

P a m p a s F a n
A special and personal commission for Ceri, who celebrated yesterday.
I love creating these and have had some truly unique desogns with my pampas this season. Each fan is individually made, with handpicked and prepped stems of pampas. This one, I styled into a palm shape to compliment their Ceri and Tom's wedding florals.
Ceri is displaying this in her living room as a keepsake, how special!

The start of June kicked off with all the boho burnt oranges, blush and greens, and a mix of big impacting styled dried and fresh flowers, set amongst loose and realaxed drapery for a whimsical vibe, styled for my couple, Jodie & Ash.
After meeting Jodie over 5 years ago, this was a super emotive celebration to style. Jodie has always been an advocate of pursuing dreams, and to see her smashing hers is outstanding. I owe alot of my personal growth mindset to this human. Who encouraged me to quit my old job, do something that makes me feel good and excited, and here I am, and I've only styled her bloody wedding! An absolute dream.
From seeing her excited bubbly self with her best ones in the morning, emanating all the best energy, tears brimming whilst deliver flowers with my mate (thankyou!!!) before their ceremony, her man, little one and dawg waiting for her, was all so wholesome.
Collaborating with Mel was the best, who I knew from receiving Jodies brief would be the perfect soul to connect with their vision!
And yes, the skated the night away!
The following morning, they were all enjoying the best feels of the sunny morning in the venues garden. Always good feels around Jodie!
I received her review this week, and she had me balling again! I will never get over how helping others feel good makes me feel soooo damn grateful for what I've built.

What matters most/
You! That you enjoy your celebration, you get all the feels and build some of the best memories!
Whilst I think styling takes off so much pressure off my couples before and on the day, this can wow their guests and resonate with my couples' styles. The most important part is that my couples feel good. I'll always be checking in beforehand.
And...with two outdoor ceremonies over the next two weeks, gosh, I'm so happy the sun is shining for them!

W e d d i n g S e a s o n /
Life of a stylist, in brief.
It's s been a wonderfully busy start, and we have four weddings over the next three weeks before another block. I'm behind on admin and emails (tomorrow mornings job after a venue meet), and my brain is working overtime on logistics and prepping.
Prep for me usually starts two weeks beforehand, as one wedding can sometimes mean a super loaded five day turnaround, so the van can be packed, delivered, styled, repurposed, collected, unloaded, and straight into the next one (we won't go into the cleaning). As much as possible needs to be ready beforehand so I have time to clean, often create bespoke pieces, check about a hundred times I have everything (plenty of brain melts), liaise with my couples, other suppliers (mainly Florist, stationer, including getting vases over before and arranging stationery deliveries and anything else I source, such as napkins and candles).
From the end of October to the beginning of April, I'm pretty much busy with styled shoots, firming up briefs, and panicking whether I'll have enough work. It's completely different to the spring/ summer in terms of "being actively busy", so I have to ensure I'm present for each and every one to enjoy the process, for me and my couples and use the time after for reflection, creative thinking and some time out for me and mine too.
Now is also a time when most of my enquiries arrive and briefs need to be done for next year, and I try not to work into my evenings... because this ain't no life otherwise.
My most used saying is "please bare with me", my couples know this and I'm so grateful, because in honesty, I'm tired, exhausted, my body hurts, and my brain is overloaded.
But....after all, it really works for me, I love the pace and the creativity, and though I feel overwhelmed at times (mostly), it's completely rewarding to be a part of the most special moments in time.
2024 is going to be one to remember!

D R A P E R Y
Dreamy, floaty, textured ceremony aisles are my favourite.
My couple knew they wanted their venue beams draped, and this is a popular choice here after I styled this look 2 years ago! I'm always trying to adapt with colours, fabrics, and slight styling variations so each couple has their own vibe. Here I added a rug aisle, huge plumes of fluffy handpicked and prepped pampas in original glass carboys (bringing in the sage drapery) and an ivory backdrop in cheesecloth and the softest silky chiffon (bringing in the pampas) and a few disco balls for a subtle party feel.

I loved their brief! Sage, ivory, and oodles of boho texture! This lovely couple had me in to style thir Ceremony and provide some pieces for their wedding breakfast, which styled themselves so beautifully!

Stunning Sophie and her beautiful Bridesmaids!
I love her choice of dresses, unique to each of her friends.
One of my and Izzy's favourite things to do after we've styled is to watch our couples and guests arrive and ooh and ahh over the guests outfits!
And wild colourful bouquets were exquisite! Ribbons supplied by yours truly as Sophie wanted these to compliment her table placing bows.

I'm so chuffed to share some of Sophie & Tom's stunning previews. Thank you both and .co. You both have some seriously cool style!
Such a beautiful modern chic boho vision to design with them both! I loved their choice of colours, big, vibrant, and wild! And brought this and more!
Peaches, pinks, oranges, ivories, with a touch of sage.
We changed their design slightly from their original brief, following Sophie & Tom coming to see the spring open day I styled here this year, in terms of drapery and faux real wax candles, adding even more ambience to their vision (no flame venue!). I am always happy to make changes, especially as this one was designed a while back!
And Sophies dress! More to come as her style and bridesmaids too were perfection!
