Emma & Matt booked me to take ceremony photos, family groups and portraits around Derby. But when we'd rinsed Derby for all it was worth and we had time left on their booking, I offered to join them for a quick half hour at their reception. It was so worth it. We got details shots, candids galore and even had time for some portraits in the dry. Flexible photographer? ✅

Group shots, family formals, the bit that everyone rolls their eyes about and blames the photographer when it takes too long. Love them or hate them, there's always room for a bit of fun. If you ask me for group shots you will always get a standard photo of everyone stood in a boring-ass line looking smart, but you will also always get some of these. I will provoke, tease, wind-up and verbally poke your guests to get these shots. Be ready!

Unlike my previous post, this lovely pair may have spent some time in front of the camera before. But they are a real couple, due to be married later this year and boy do they make a cracking photo. There are a couple of ermm..cheekier pictures here. Don't worry if you've booked me for your wedding photos, I don't ask everyone to get their bums out. 😁

This is not a drill! They might look like models but this gorgeous pair were the real deal. It was a massive privilege to photograph their wedding at Sheffield Town Hall just before Christmas. Definitely one I'll remember forever. Ask me to tell you the story one day.

Quick pre-christmas shoot today. Jumped on a studio session with my ever-generous father-in-law We were shooting gorgeous resident model and when I heard she had a wedding dress knocking about the place, I couldn't resist!

I usually recommend starting your photography 2 hours before your ceremony but with the dressing room right next to the ceremony room at The West Mill, I was able to grab these images for Evie & Robbie in the last 20 minutes before they got married.

Getting a nice shot of your wedding rings is always worth the time. If you're happy to take them back off after the ceremony, I'll often take them while you're eating and trying and style a shot. Cate & David had a hobbit themed wedding so we obviously had to get a shot of the rings that bind them.
