Huge congratulations again to Lee + Kim, who were married on Sunday!

Sneak Peek!

Congratulations again to Jessica and Jack, who got married in style on Saturday at the wonderful Southwell Minster.

The after was on the family farm land, but not just any farmland! This had been customised for the big day, complete with giant hay bales for photos, a full size carousel and helter skelter, plus a beautifully styled marquee complete with a stage for the band and a round bar!!

Sparklers, fireworks, cheese tower, an epic wedding cake, hog roast, beef wellington, and more! This was one action packed and fun day!

I forgot to mention the x2 huge red tractors outside the minster that they travelled back to the farm in!

I knew this before, but farmers do not mess about!! This was why from the moment we met Jack and Jess, we had to be a part of their day

Just a dress, doing dress things!!

Always on the lookout for a good spot for the dress! This can be very challenging where space isn't a luxury. Luckily, at Prestwold Hall, there are many options, but the wedding coordinator said that she had never seen anyone put it here!!

Ka-ching! Boom! Av' it!! I will take that! 2 unite spots found a week apart at x2 different venues! 🤪

Tip: White wedding dresses on bright days especially, so not like to be hung in a window. The backlight is not great if you want to see the details. Ideally, natural light falling onto the dress is best.

There are sometimes exceptions depending on the dress, window, light, and time of day, but this is a general rule.

The same should also be said for bridal prep and anything where you don't want a blown out mega bright background. Avoid the window light on your back if possible. Shooting into window light when your subject is walking towards you is not ideal.

Sometimes, it can't be avoided, but where you have the choice, light falling onto the subject and shooting from the window is better. 😊

Sneak Peek!

Huge congratulations again to Emily + Daniel,who were married last week at Hanbury Barns. They already have their sneak peeks, but I've been out and about with the kids, so I'm catching up on posting! 🤪 Here are a few frames for you!

What an excellent family filled fun day, full of energy, dancing, great food from Green Door Catering and some terrible, yukky yuk yuk, blahh roulette jelly beans!! (Can you tell who got all the bad ones?🤢🤣) It was so much fun! I'm sure the kids were trying to poison me! 🤣 Squid flavour and snot I had! 🙈

We also had grrat music by one of the best wedding bands around who had everyone dancing the entire time, even during the sound check!

Loads of wonderful family moments to trrasure and look back on. It reminds me of looking back at fond memories I have being a kid and playing at weddings. Nothing better!

It's been a very busy few weeks as we are deep into the wedding season and the school holidays!

I just delivered one of the biggest wedding galleries ever as we did extended coverage from 8.30 am until 2am. It was a monster, but fun!

I have a busy next 2 weeks before it calms down for 2.5 weeks of built-in power editing, so expect galleries dropping like rain soon!

Sneak Peek!!

Catching up on some sneak peeks - up first, Joy + Matt at Amalfi White, Melbourne, Derby where we had an overcast but very warm day!

We started with bridal prep at Harpers, Melbourne, with Joy and the ladies, then walked along the road for the ceremony to the stunning Amalfi White ballroom that has the most amazing chandeliers!

Both looked stunning, and you could feel the love in the room and how happy they were to finally say, "I do!"

After a beautiful ceremony outside, we went for an ice cream van treat, followed by a trip to Melbourne Pool with just Matt + Joy for some couples pics! I say just Matt + Joy, but Matt did bring the other love in his life..... the classic VW Beetle!

Then, back to Amalfi White for a few group shots, bbq, and the party!!

No pressure today photographing another wedding photographers wedding at all! 🫤🙈 The most nervous 'send' click ever! 🤣

I don't often get under the veil, but I love this shot!

Sneak Peeks!!

So, slightly delayed sneak peeks as I went straight on holiday after this one that was on the Euro semi-final day, and what a day it was!

Another congrats to Toni + Dave, aka Pob!

Eastwood Hall, Christ Church, Ironville, and then to the Royal Oak! Horse-drawn carriage, footie, drink, hog roast, band, swings, slides, and a decent sky for the evening!! Boom!!

Apart from not wanting to take our eyes off, everyone waiting for a goal reaction, that was tense, btw, the day was perfect, but a busy one!! We even had Insomnia as the first tune after the first dances to get everyone going - and after an England win, it went off!!

Sneak Peeks!!

What an amazing day we had at The Hidden Hive on Saturday with Georgia + Josh!

Huge congratulations, and thanks again for looking after us so well and being up for any of my crazy ideas!

What a great space this is - garden games a must! There were a few tense games of Jenga and loads of bubbles to play with, including a smoke filled bubble machine!!

Hog Roast, some silky sax, an amazing band and loads of singing, pitch perfect style!! Even Georgia, the bride, got on the mic and joined the band for one, which was amazing! Josh put in a stella ballerina style performance with a smoke gr***de, which was hilarious!

Sneak Peek!!

What a day with Jamie + Victoria!

It was my first time at Branston Golf & Country Club, and it didn't disappoint. In fact, it was amazing!!
From the helpful staff, and I mean REALLY helpful! Just wow!! They couldn't do enough to look after us with 3 courses, drinks, being driven around in golf buggies, and more!! The food!! 🤤

Starting with really chilled morning to the church service where the Vicar was ace and we had free roam, to the afternoon and photos, and into the evening where we got lucky again with an amazing golden hour, that extra hour of coverage to get sparklers and more dancefloor was just perfect!

Yet another wedding with an unbelievable couple and their friends and family that was an absolute joy to be at! And some people call this work!! 🤣

One hell of a fun and funny day with Daniel and John as we captured photos and film!

I can't wait to edit and show more of these with my magic new Magbox that was amazing!! (Tog talk!) 🤣
