Church weddings...

The difference when you are allowed to go where you like, and the vicar is so chill.

Obviously, we don't move about loads during those quiet moments. But being allowed to roam during hymns and as others in the service do allows for a much wider variety of photos rather than having only 1 or 2 angles when you are ordered to root like a tree!!

So, as always, my first post of the new year is always a family photo! This one from this year's family holiday to Crete taken by a lovely random guest! 😊

While I sit with my leg up watching the Arsenal and swearing a lot, I'm thinking about the year ahead and the year just gone.

Firstly, I am so lucky to have such an amazing set of family and friends that have helped me over the past month when I had planned knee surgery. It was basically a service for my knee to fix an old injury and stop my knee cap rubbing on my joint. Big ouch!! Recovery is going well and is either on track or ahead! Yay!!

My daughter also has to have surgery 4 days after mine to fix a damaged finger tendon after an accident. My poor wife!! 2 of us!! She has been amazing! (She defo needs a well-earned rest!🫣)

This is why I haven't posted much over the past few weeks. I wanted to just recharge and focus on rehab and family. I still love you all!

I'm off crutches, can drive, and will be at the first wedding show of 2025 with on the 12th of Jan at the hotel. If you see me in a leg brace or with crutches, don't be alarmed, it's just so my leg doesn't get too tired. Just don't kick me!! Please!! 🤣

Arsenal are so frustrating! 🙈 Where was I? Oh yes!!

I'm back to semi normal from Tuesday with shorter days and added physio, so you lovely people that are patiently waiting for your winter wedding pics can start getting excited! I was shooting right up to 48hrs before my surgery and had one of my busiest Autumn/ winters!

I have been so lucky to have had the best couples this year. Every wedding was amazing, with many highlights, including the destination wedding to Tuscany Italy. It was unreal!! More of those, please! 🙏🏾 Thank you, everyone!

Also, thanks to everyone else who I've done things for from family shoots, headshots, product photography, events, and more.

An exciting year ahead. Lots to ponder from website tweaks, collabs, training to level up, making a bigger effort to get to the gym, and as always the top priority, enjoy family!!

Hopefully, this is the same for you! A reason I love weddings!

Rounding out 2024 with a christmas time wedding for Rob + Karen at the amazing Cockliffe House!

Sparkles, singing, dancing, lots of smiles and laughter made for one fantastic day with the winter weather holding out as well!

The venue looked amazing, and by all accounts a good day had!

Sneak Peeks!!

Just dayum!! What a day!! Huge congrats again to Glen + Jess!!

It's started like a scene from Twister when I was loading in my car in the morning. Not gonna lie, I jad a feeling of weather dread. But.... all was well! We had gaps in the right places and got to do almost everything.

This was one funny and fun day. Stripper songs, shots, cake, more cake, venison pie, a harpist and flashing.... oh, that was me! (Sorry!🤣) Rounded off with one big party! Some amazing music by Andy Usher Music and a neon Ibiza Sax set after the band set!

I was there for an extended day, and found it very hard to leave. Yes, I danced!!

Truly loved this wedding and everyone there! Thank you all!

Sneak Peeks!!

Chloe + Rob!!!! Huge congrats!!!

What a day at Amalfi White, Melbourne, Derbyshire, and a ceremony in their beautiful ballroom!

Chloe did not stop laughing and smiling all day long, which made it easy for me 🤣

An amazing day had, by all, with the most amazing food and great staff - Rob even learned to ride a bike... nearly!! 🤣

We had a gap in the rain at just the right time and even managed a 2nd spell outside for sparklers!!
