**All Clear, Road Reopened**
From 1.30pm. A bus is currently stuck under the railway bridge on Twyford Road. Police in attendance. Road is blocked so vehicles are having to turn around in the car park or Dragon entrance.
EDIT* Road now closed at the Rising Sun.

Happy National Florist Day, Saturday 8th June! The sun is now shining on the 1st ever celebration of Florists. The day has been created by Florists, floral designers, growers, wholesalers, product developers and other in the industry to show we don't just "play with flowers".
It is a skill learned over time, gaining recognised qualifications and experience to create beautiful things in times of happiness and sadness. We have long days, mostly stood up, hard working dirty hands, cold shops and as small self employed businesses providing for our families. Not to mention we brighten up the high street with our colourful displays.

And finally me, Diane, the boss but I never say I am, we're a team of colleagues and friends. I do anything and everything in the shop from buying, creating and delivering flowers. You've probably seen me out delivering in our blue flowery van.
My favourite flowers are Delphiniums or Daisies and anyone who knows me will tell you my favourite colour is blue💙
I've been a florist since 2002 and have owned Cottage Garden since 2009 after working here for a couple of years before that.
I love creating bespoke funeral tributes and the happiness on people's faces when they see our creation Saturday 8th June.

Her favourite flowers are Lissianthus and favourite colour is purple💜
She owned her own shops in the past, so a few people from surrounding villages have recognised her and her excellent flowery skills💐 Saturday 8th June.

This is Anna our blonde bombshell, she has been a florist since 2011 and worked in our shop since 2013. Her favourite flowers are Stocks and favourite colour is green 💚
She's very good at remembering faces and names but just don't ask her what she did yesterday 🤣

We may not have a huge plant selection but the ones we do have are wonderful quality. Look at the size of the heads on these Hydrangea compared to my hand! The Roses smell beautiful(SOLD). We've got Eucalyptus, Olive Trees, Peony and who doesn't love a daisy? 🌹🌸
