Floristry and flower arranging are two things I've always been passionate about and as my family and friends will tell you, flowers and plants are a bit of an obsession! In setting up my part-time floristry business I wanted to be able to provide fabulous flowers at competitive prices so everybody had the chance to enjoy them, whatever their budget. Whether that’s a beautiful bouquet of flowers, b

ridal flowers, bespoke tributes to lost loved ones, luxury door wreaths for Christmas or spectacular Mother’s Day baskets. Having attended the Norfolk School of Floristry to kick-start this new career a few years ago, I’ve successfully managed the business ever since. I recently completed the Floristry Academy Diploma and display my certificate with pride in my flower studio at home. The reviews and recommendations I receive from customers, brides, friends and family tell me I’m doing something right and that gives me a lot of personal satisfaction. I will continue to provide a personal service to all my customers, so I hope to be able to do this for you at some point, especially to brides and those saying goodbye to their loved ones who deserve that bespoke service every time.

Many apologies for the radio silence with posts and messages on this page. Unfortunately my step-father was ill last year and he passed away in November. Looking after him and his affairs took a lot of my time, so I had to take a step back from flowers for a while.

However, having given it a lot of thought, I've decided to close down the retail side of Fabulous Flowers. I suppose I was a victim of my own success in that the time commitment for weddings and special seasonal occasions was just too much for what I had originally intended for the business.

I will still be involved with flowers, it's in the blood. I'll continue with flower arranging lessons and be heavily involved in the Dereham & District Flower club and local competitions.

I wish you all well and hopefully you've been able to find another local florist to provide what you need. If you'd like recommendations on florists in and around Dereham, please message me.

** IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR MY CUSTOMERS **
After much soul-searching, I've decided to take an extended break from creating and selling flowers, be it bouquets, weddings, funerals etc. I'm going to focus more on floral competitions and teaching for a while as well as freeing up more time for family commitments and my local voluntary work.

Of course, any existing orders and all the remaining summer wedding bookings will be lovingly honoured. I'll update later in the year regarding Christmas and wreath-making workshops.

Any queries, or recommendations for alternative florists, please drop me a message, the page will remain live.

Well, we (Dereham Flower Club) got a 2nd placing at the Norfolk Show last week which I'm proud of. A great experience and I've now got the competition bug big time!

This was our interpretation of "Commonwealth of Nations' with a crown for the Queen, at the top were flowers from Commonwealth countries and the bottom depicts the Commonwealth flag. We got nice comments from the judges but they thought our blue pillar was too dominant. We'll just have to try again next year!

Another lovely recommendation from a recent bride about her wedding flowers...

Helen has been an absolutely amazing wedding florist. I postponed from last year but she stuck with me and we discussed options for my bouquet. She even sent me pictures of different flowers she was considering for me to choose from. Communication has been great and I absolutely loved the bouquets, centre pieces, top table arrangement, buttonholes and pew ends. I haven't got any official pictures back yet but here is one to show how amazing they were. Thank you so much Helen!

Getting a few things ready for the craft fair at Dereham station on Saturday 17th. As well as featuring fresh flower bouquets and posies, I'll have lots of decorated willow rings and hearts, succulents in cute containers, coloured pampas grass and much more. As a relative new-comer to floristry and flower arranging, it’s something I’ve always been passionate about and as my family and friends will tell you, flowers and plants are a bit of an obsession!
