Don't forgot, weather permitting we'll be emptying the big container tomorrow at the hall. From 10 am we'll be pulling everything out, putting it into the hall, to see what the state of the fate games are. Then putting it all back in again. Please come lend a hand if you can. 2 of us ladies had a look last week and quickly realised we couldn't carry stuff, as it's big and heavy. So we're hoping for a bit of this 💪

A Norfolk business based in Fakenham, where they create their premium gin. You will receive A welcome drink plus 4 samples of their different gins. Black Shuck will present the drinks as part of an informal presentation. You'll also be served tasty valentine bites, plus cheese and chutneys. We've had our monthly VH meeting this evening. We are all blown away by the kindness of some of our villagers. Helping us so much, by being generous in the donations for the prize bags for this Fridays BINGO ! You people coming together to support these events, especially during difficult times of a cost of living crisis. Thank you 🙏 (p.s if you haven't yet booked yourself a bingo table, you may miss out)

Do you fancy a family fun fête next July ? Get dressed up maybe, 1940's in style... With outside games, a BBQ, live music , a bar and other things ? We are putting out the feelers to gauge the response. Here comes the clincher..... WE NEED HELP PLEASE. Lots and lots of help. We already have a small team of volunteers who so kindly and generously give us their time, we are so grateful to them 💗However it really does take an army 🪖🪖 to build something great. We need an army to make this happen. If a couple of strong fit chaps help with getting up and down ladders to put some bunting up for example, that's help. If a few of you could work on the BBQ & cook burgers and sausages, that's help. If a few of you can serve for a couple of hours with refreshments, that's help. Putting up and down all the chairs and tables, it's a strenuous task, please can you help with that ? So many different areas you could help and make a difference to our village. If you could get your older teenagers onboard to assist in the events, it would be brilliant. Please comment below of you could lend a hand to make this village fete happen.

Here at your VH, we don't take a rest, even if it is a Sunday, as there are events to plan for you all. The next one on the agenda is 📣📣📣 🎄 CHRISTMAS BINGO🎄 Bearing in mind the current "cost of living crisis", any donations will be very welcomed, however small. The team of volunteers will be working hard, touring the village, collecting donations for the Bingo Prizes.

All the funds go towards the maintenance of our village hall and at present we are working on the third phase of the refurbishment. Some spooktacular things are happening in Whissonsett village hall tonight. We are getting ready for the "family fancy dress disco" tomorrow, SATURDAY 19TH OCT 7pm to 10.30pm We'll have a D.J. playing some classic favourite chooons, the yummy The Bucket List - Norfolk will be out front in the car park serving hot food, a cash bar so bring some money, and a raffle. 🎃a prize for the best fancy dress🎃 Tickets are just £3.00 and accompanied children under 16 are free.
