Our Didcot Food Festival is this Saturday 5th October in Didcot Civic Hall. open from 10 -4pm with the offical opening by Tilly winner of Junior Bake Off at 10.30. She will then be in the Chefs theatre doing a demo on GF dough buns and dips. There are three other chefs in the kitchen during the day. Entry fee on the day is £5 adult and free for children under 16 (must be accompanied). There are over 40 food and drink producers and food gifts. The Crafters Emporium CIC have their refill station and their crafters food gifts. TEAM Mikayla have their popular sweet stall in reception. There is a cafe serving teas, coffees and light refreshments and outside Sweet-Daisy with waffles and milk shakes. We hope you will support this community event as all profits go back into supporting other events in our community. We have supported Play2Give, TEAM Mikayla, Secret Santa 365, and Anna Gatrells Christmas lunches. We also have our Christmas Craft & Didcot Craft & Gift Fair on 9th November. We are all volunteers and enjoy putting on amazing events in Didcot. We look forward to welcoming you.

27th Didcot Christmas Street Fair

Didcot Christmas Street Fair will celebrate its 27th event this year . It started in 1994 as a sub committee of Didcot Chamber of Commerce. The organising committee are all volunteers from the community, supported by professional security, funfair, electrical and safety people. In 2016 The Committee became a Community Interest Company under Didcot Events which also organise Didcot Food Festival and Didcot Craft and Gift Festival. These events as well as sponsors pay for Didcot Christmas Street Fair.

Its a great annual event for the Community of Didcot and surrounding villages. Shopping, local community stalls, funfair, live stage, a grand parade lead by Reading Scottish Pipe Band, Father Christmas at The Methodist Hall, Street Food, and Entertainments. The theme this year is Christmas in Song

There are sponsorship opportunities for all our events. Contact Jeanette Howse for more details [email protected] 0777 1967633
